  1. I know it might look ridiculous, but I did a quick writing about the Mu vs Valk match-up. Based on pure analysis, my opinion and some things tested on training mode. Might I post it to see what you guys think about it? Of course, I might ended up having writing something wrong, but...well, you decide.
  2. I understand. Looks like the Mu player has to be flexible in order to apply her most complicated stuff. Can Mu get 5k after a guard break in the corner? I mean, let's suppose you have 50 meter and do a 5k combo that leaves 3 steins out, you can break 5 primers with Ame no Habakiri and full charged SoD. Then you go for another 5k...that's pretty much more than half of the cast's HP. Right?
  3. Tao is not impressive anymore like in CS1. I'd say that the nerfs to her Drives[Repeat Proration and j.D shortened distance] and the lost of Taunt loop hurt her bad. j.8D loop gets her lower damage than Taunt loop, from what I saw. Unless I'm wrong and didn't see her better damaging viable options. But that's just the opinion of a BB player that never played against someone because he don't know anyone who plays BB. So I don't know if my point can be considered 'valid'. I make my conclusions based on what I read [And sometimes from what I see from watching videos]. Also, Mu meterless airthrow stuff would be done with Ame no Totsuka already out and would require strict timing?
  4. C0R, about your point of Mu for top 5...could you elaborate a bit more?[You wrote a little about it on page 124] It's very interesting.[At least, I think.] Also, how would you guys rank Mu's match-ups from Worst to Best?
  5. Nick, about the mizuumi page, Mondlicht input is j.214B, and not j.236B And the Blut Vollmond is 214214C, not 214214D. Hope it helps.

  7. I saw Geno deleted his post for some reason, but yeah, the combo he posted before works. Near corner airthrow > 2C > 6C > 2C > tk Mondlicht > 2D > [w]236B > [w]j.236B > 5CD > j.B > dj.B > dj.C 3777 damage, 23 meter gain. Maybe he discovered that it works before I tested, but for those who didn't saw, this was the combo. Edit: Sahgren, it goes up to 3798 damage, 35 meter gain with the 2C.
  8. Thanks. I'll remember it. By the way Airthrow near corner > 2C > 6C > 2C > 6B > 5B > j.B > dj.B > dj.C 32 meter gain, 3606 damage. Tried the wolf part (j236A > etc) but I got a blue beat in the middle. Trying to keep stuff simple and easy. Since we have more "elaborated" combos, simple ones will be good for people who are still learning.
  9. Rozen > 9D > [w]j.A x3 > [w]j.236A > [w]j.236B > 5C > [w]j.B x2 > [w]5A > j.DB > dj.B > dj.C 2892, 33 meter gain. I guess everyone might know this already, but..well, it's here. Pretty much almost any combo that involves wolf follows that pattern ([w]j.A x3 > [w]j.236A > [w]j.236B > 5C > [w]j.B x2). I'll try something with [w]j.214A/B CH (against anti-airs). Not getting many ideas though, will think on something later. Sorry =/
  10. It's said that 236A gives you frame advantage on hit(+), but it leaves you at -2 according to frame data. http://dustloop.com/guides/bbcs2/frameData/valkenhayn.html Shouldn't that be reviewed? I don't understand much about the more technical stuff but i saw this and thought it should be said. Sorry if I'm wrong.
  11. While not being a new combo, if you have 50 meter you have the option of doing 236B RC > that combo I said except the 3C. (236B first hit has 120% bonus proration if I remember correctly) 5858 and 30 meter back. If you have 100 meter though, you can deal 7020 damage with air super in the end. Nothing particularly new, but i thought it could be interesting to tell. Edit: Found This: Midscreen j.C against an enemy on the ground > Mondlicht > 5D > [w]236A > [w]236B > 5C > [w] j.B >[w] j.B > [w]5A > j.DB > dj.B > dj.C 35 meter gain, 3082 damage. Still getting used to wolf form/mobility/moves(Any suggestions would be helpful). This one might not be that useful, but who knows. You might end up landing a j.C in a match and do this. And there you have easy corner carry plus good meter gain. Second Edit: Edited the post with the combo.

  13. It goes up to 4577 with what you said. Couldn't see the meter gain now because i had to repeat it numerous times to get it to work. (Yeah, my execution isn't anything impressive.). And had problems with wolf cancelling, got to work on this. (Learning Valk) I'll edit this post later with the meter gain. Edit: 48 Meter gain. With a simple combo like this. wow.
  14. I saw them. Pretty cool. But they demand more of the player. Even being a beginner, i can try to help finding some simple but good damaging combos (somewhere around 4k ~ 5k.), that don't demand much execution if you guys want. I don't guarantee many combos though.

I was messing around in Training mode(PSP version) and found this: Corner - [h]3C > 2C > 6C > 2C > 6B > 5B > j.B > dj.B > dj.C for 3756 damage, 28 meter gain and a knockdown. 4956 if you add j.236236C at the end.(if you have the meter) You'll have to delay a bit the second 2C or the 6B will whiff. Tested on Ragna, will test it on the others later.(Do i need to test on everyone of the cast or just in some of them?) I know there's a better option but i thought it might be useful. Hope it helps.
  16. Brazil. And i've checked the Match Finder subforums, didn't find anything that is related to here. And online is tough, connection is really bad. Hey, i just remembered something now, i know a friend who might know someone who might play BB.(People who like anime/mangá/japanese things as a whole.). Might as well give it a try, maybe i'll find someone.
  17. It's either CPU or setting the other character in training mode to do blockstrings and see what can i do, what moves are useful, etc. I don't know anyone here that plays BB. The first time i searched i didn't find anyone, so i'm putting my hope on the event that will happen next month. Sometimes i almost quited playing BB because of that. What do you think BB needs? I mean, one(or more) mechanic(s) that should be changed or added that would make the game better. Tao had the best neutral game in CS. Do you think she still has the best in CS2? And...can i make any questions related to GG?
  18. LK, i know that was already asked, but time passed, videos were seen and CSII is already out on something that is not the arcades(at least it's on PSP), so i guess it is valid to ask again. What's your opinion about Litchi in CSII after seeing how she is now? Who do you think are her bad match-ups? And her good ones? What should one practice first when trying to learn Litchi? Considering she is not exactly easy to learn. (If you can answer in a more CSII oriented way, please do) Do you think someone can give any opinion about match-ups based on cpu fights? (That's a sad thing) Sorry if i wrote something wrong, i'm still learning english.
