Trying to go w/ a structured set up, not a random man lobby. AKA King of the Hill, but in sets.

How many would be interested in participating in a online set up where: - People sign up - First two people play a FT3/5 - Winners stays on and then the next person plays them to a FT5 and so forth for a set period of time. - Winner would be crown king for the week and would get to go last the next week to defend their title against the new champ or go first to increase their win streak - Have it reset monthly - All matches would be streamed

TBH, outside of Haven's team, once people get going, second place is going to be close run. And second place gives you another shot at taken the money. And their is always the MVP part. But that is one of the main things i worry about in online situations.

Ok, Fuji's team is set to play Mikel's team on saturday at 12CST/1EST (if Raptor confirms he can play) Still waiting on ciddypoo to confirm for the grudge match against DaiAndOh's team.

He's still the captain, so I can't override him in his own team matters. It would be over stepping. But Fuji is on skype every night and recently returned from a family trip where he was stuck down south for a week w/o legitimate internet. Bottom line, this is a lack of communication between the team. Edit: it's not my job to schedule and round up the members of the team. It's the captain's job

Because it shouldn't need a front page ruling for something like that. You sign up for an event, you stick it out unless you have a legit emergency. Then I work with you. If you just going I drop out just "because"(and people have posted on the forums or messaged me that they dropped out before. Check out the Persona version of this) then I'm not going to let you participate in anything else I run because you show me that you're unreliable. Which I think would be common sense in comparison to all the rules up there that are confusing. You sign up for a season and play for a team, you're not solo, so backing out just "because" is quitting on your team. Not like a tournament where it just effects you.

The reason I responded the way I did is because I've had 2 people drop out during these events. The first time cause the event to stop all together because we could not find a replacement, luckily this time wasn't as bad. But I take dropping out very seriously since it throws everything out of balance, hurts the team, hurts the other teams, and jeopardizes the entire event. If you're going to be sarcastic on a forum, then show signs of sarcastic outside of "lol". Sarcasm via text is often missed, especially when it's on the topic on something serious. Edit: plus this isn't a free event overall. It's free for y'all but I'm still putting up prize money. And all I ask is a little bit of professionalism. Nothing on a major scale or huge requirements. Just to follow the rules (which I'm super lenient with) and participate.

Backing out hurts the entire set up and if you do decide to back out, I will have to ban you from future events I run including this one.

So I'm deciding to go ahead with the "every team reaches 10 wins" system. Also, with this system, the team with the best record and the team with the second best will play in a Championship game. Second place team will have to win twice to take the money.

Sorry guys, the confirms were late ( today instead of earlier in the week) so I went ahead and planned some of things. Reminder, no matches Sunday since I'll be co-streaming PXG Online Tournament and no matches next week for NEC.

Everything else would stay the same, just that you would stop playing once you reached 10 wins. Once the first team reaches 10, I would probably set a 30 day deadline for the rest to reach 10.

It's based on availability but if both teams already played, then I match them up with another team "unless" those are the only teams available. And I'm focusing this question more on the players because they are the ones most affected by this rule. For example, Badlime team is leading 3-0 and closest to 10 wins by far, but they all say Haven's team is stronger. In the current system, they could just reach 10 wins before Haven's team does, and still claim victory. In the new system, even if they reach 10 first, they still have to have a better record than everybody. Also, just to add on to this. If we go with a "best record after reaching 10 wins" system. I will create a "Grand Finals" where the second place team still gets a chance to take the title. But they would be playing as a team from the loser bracket so they would have to win two sets instead of one.

No offense but is has to be the players to decide since they are the ones who can actually win the event.

So far it's 2 for the change and one against, anybody else wants to weigh in on this change? Also, games will only be open for Saturday. I have to co-stream the PXG Online Championship this Sunday.

Wouldn't want you guys to have to slow yourselves down for others. We can have a vote on it since I'm always open to revision to the rules. If every prefers it be the team w/ the best record over the team to get 10 first. Then I'll be happy to switch it. Just need people to vote in on it. Thanks for the suggestion.
