  1. Great! I check here once every other week for an update still. :)
  2. I was beginning to worry, and to feel a bit parched - thanks for the barrel!
  3. Why on earth would we use these random letters?
  4. I check this site daily now because of you. What are you recording with, and at what settings? Why are you keeping the videos all private?
  5. How do you find all these?
  6. It looks like you can jump before the seed explodes, which means it can be chicken blocked.
  7. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will watch anything posted for this character! :-)
  8. Ah, thank you. I mostly just wanted to see if I was failing with the timing of the new string I learned or not. I'll work out a different hit confirm series.
  9. I got it to a 50% success rate today. Thanks guys! Is this combo possible? Throw, OD, 5C, 214A, 41236C, 2C, j.214B, AD, j.2C, 5C, 632146C. It drops at the second 5C for me, but it might just need really tight timing,
  10. Thank you. Would you say that, after getting it down, it's pretty reliable?
  11. Stock are oldest replaced first. You don't need 3 stocks to cast spells. 1 stock has its own assignment. You can use the aura buff to get rid of stocks. Nine is definitely low mobility and speed. She has no dash, just strongly telegraphed teleports.
  12. What's the trick to hitting j.2C, 5C after 2C, 214B? I can only get it 25% of the time. Either I do j.2C too early, and it whiffs, or I do j.2C too late, and 5C doesn't connect in time. Sometimes (against Jin) I end up knocking Jin down behind me instead of in front of me. Day 4 of Hakumen, so advice is appreciated.
  13. I think the best bet would be something like: 1) Combo that ends in AFW and the opponent in a corner. 2) On oki, blockstring to get AF. 3) Cancel into AF (which has a hitbox at the start). 4) Use the mirror to keep the opponent locked in the corner while AFW ticks down.
  14. The clock spell is blockable. The seed spell might hit low. Reveal trailer makes it look like an unblockable.
  15. Yeah, I'm aware of all that, and I've seen all that. I want to see what they do in the neutral. Does FFF stay out for a few seconds to provide a barrier? What does WWW do that WW doesn't? Does AAA cover a huge portion of the screen? They need to do something pretty tremendous to compete with AAF and WWF. If they're just combo fodder, then that would be incredibly disappointing. At least WWW could justify itself as the best punish option in the game if it's fast and long. Edit: Though if we had someone to translate that page, I'd love to know that it says next to some of these.
  16. I know what WWW and FFF do. I asked if anyone has seen them. I don't want to read about what they do, I want to see them in action.
  17. WI and WA will just lead to misreadings. The only problem with W, A, and F is that A is also an input. No reason to use slashes or brackets. It's just more typing. In Marvel, we use numbers and letters for Dormammu. 3D0C and such. 2W1F is an option. RGB is ok. I would rather have a system that references the content.
  18. I've already read your document before. It doesn't have answers to any of the questions I asked.
  19. I think it might be a charge you expend. I have seen it last a while with 1 stock.
  20. Yeah, I saw that one. Hoping to learn the effect. The AI strongly prefers a handful of spells. What do you think causes Nine to lose the aura buff?
  21. Have we seen the following in action? WWW FFF WA WWA
  22. Thank you for the advice. I think, if you watched later in the video, you would see me do a few of those things. Most of it is very applicable, though. I will work on it. This is my first GG game.
  23. I didn't want to post this in the video thread, since it seems more like a "videos of good players" thread. Here is a recording of some of my matches at a friend's house last night: http://www.twitch.tv/skillzilla81/b/637052853 If Zato is playing, it's me. I learned that my opponent never blocks on oki, but it takes me a while to adjust to really take advantage of that. I watched Ogawa matches last night, and I noticed that he does drill on Oki before the -S- with Eddie, so I am going to start doing that for better pressure. Around 15 minutes in I start playing a bit smarter, but it's all a work in progress. I pull off some new air combos, neglect some corner follow-ups I should get off of a drill, crumple in the corner consistently, still don't use Eddie until I get a knockdown (my biggest weakness, but it's my next thing I'm going to work on), and a bunch of other stuff, but I think I've definitely made a lot of progress. Around the 1:20 mark is where I start getting better at using anti-airs. Feedback is welcome.
