  1. Hey all, I went out of town for 2 weeks and am just getting back into the swing of things. I haven't played since before I left so if you see me on, hit me up but be gentle.
  2. Gonna run some games on XBL with Leviathan in a bit if anyone else wants to join. Hit me/us up.
  3. I'd like to join if possible. I added OmegaDivider on Skype last week.
  4. Is the room/Skype group you guys run for PSN players? When do you typically run rooms?
  5. I remember you! We totally had some GGs. Not sure if you were the one (of many) who massacred me. I'll shoot you a friend request later today. Edit: Accepted your request, Leviathan.
  6. I had some GGs on XBL tonight but not sure if those players are on Dustloop. If you play on XBL, send me a friend request. I'm new but I'd like practice with anyone who's willing.
  7. Double post. I seem to have a lot of trouble getting in on Labrys. She's able to keep me zoned pretty well and when I do get in I feel like her hits have higher priority than Chie's starters (or maybe at least higher priority than A and B). I'm also not really used to her animations so I confuse her overhead for regular attacks sometimes. Any general strategies for getting in closer on Labrys? Thanks!
  8. Thanks for the tips and advice. As a total newblet, I think my biggest weaknesses right now are execution on certain moves during a combo (I'm trying not to auto-combo all the time), and blocking the mixups. I don't know what everyone's overhead animations look like yet, so I get caught in mixups easily when I'm blocking low. I'm getting a bit better at getting in with Chie but I'm not punishing opponents enough because I drop my combos before the super. I'll keep practicing and studying. Thanks!
  9. I'd be down for the Skype group, too.
  10. I'm new (got the game this week), learning to play on XBOX Live. Central Time Zone. I'm down for some training matches with fellow newbs. GT in sig.
  11. Hi everyone, Brand new to P4A. Got the game last week. Would love to practice with a fellow lowbie (level 1~5). Trying Chie as a main for now. XBOX Live gamertag: TheGRITTY
  12. ^ Well said. It comes down to expertise and automaticity. The more automatic things become, the less you think about them, and the less you need to think about them. Driving is a good example. The more you drive, the less you have to think about when to brake, how much to turn the wheel, when to start turning it back after you've made your turn, etc. I'm pretty terrible at fighting games but having those bread & butters learned to the point of expertise can come in handy when your opponent slips up. They whiff = you punishing them, even if it's for a little bit.
  13. A small group of friends and I used to play GG on Dreamcast way back in the day (circa 2001 or 2002). After my brother got BB for PS3 a few months ago, I've gotten the GG itch again. I got it for the Wii along with a stick and have been messing around with it here and there. Such a great game. Now to get my friends playing again...
  14. Hey all, I'm brand-spanking new to this community so I thought I'd start here. I played GG back in the day on Dreamcast and I recently bought GG:AC on the Wii ($10). I decided to get the Wii stick by Hori (on its way via mail). I have too hard of a time doing RCs on the pad to not get a stick. I know I'm way behind on most things, but I wanted to join in on the community nonetheless.
