ME ME ME! Let me know what day(s) you'll make it to Surge. I really would love to learn the basics and some advance stuff in AH3. I'll bring my PS3 with AH3 on it.
-
The only real BB scenes in FL are Tampa and Jacksonville, Get at them for your fix. Otherwise you can find players scattered all over the state. Pktazn and I are in Orlando, there's a few in Daytona, and as far as Miami goes, I have no clue.
-
If you have me added already on PSN, then I'll play you when Extend comes out. That and we'll get matches in at Storm Surge.
-
Let me just say to you, I'm so sorry for almost knocking down that AH3 setup. After sitting on the floor in the same position for nearly 8 matches, my left leg was completely numb. When I got up, there was practically no feeling in that leg and I fell over, it was like not knowing how to stand lol. You can imagine how weird it felt. Good shit though to everyone that made it out. We made it hype and I noticed we attracted some new people. All that screaming from Guardian(?) helped lol.
-
I'll be there by 11. See you all there, those that are going.

I caught the Amazon sale

Lol no, you don't understand. When I said "messing around with", I literally mean I've just been screwing around doing random moves and trying all the characters out. I mean, I can probably amuse you with some basic stuff, but nothing fancy here lol. Also, I must have missed the memo, but I haven't figured out to 1) Set controls to fightstick (I tried guessing, but I couldn't get the joystick to work, only the buttons), and 2) How do you set up netplay? Sounds good. Might spend an hour in training Friday night so I don't make myself look too bad!
-
Lol trust me, with the way I play I don't think I've been really playing Tsubaki at all ;P I've taken a break from BB since SU4 since there's no point messing with CS2 anymore with Extend coming out soon. In the meanwhile, I've stepped up my AE2012, UMvC3, and KoFXIII game <_< Also have been messing around with MBAACC and AH3 on the side.

CEO 2012 Fighting Game Championships Orlando, FL June 15-17 2012
Zero Shift replied to CEO Jebailey's topic in Archive
If you live in the southeastern US, makes plans to go to this. Hell, if you even consider yourself avid FG player, come anyway! Awesome tournament, lots of talent, many many stations set up for casuals, and if last year was any indication, live DJ, NOS handing out free drinks, stick modders to mod/fix your stick if need be, and a vendor or two selling shirts and some other goodies. Also, the venue is beyond awesome. The hotel has 3 (read: three) 24 hour pools with hot tubs, ping pong tables, billiard tables, and a bar. Tired of beating on scrubs (or getting your ass handed to you by a pro)? Go chill in the pool and soak up all the water and have a great time. Blazblue will be big this year at CEO. Look forward to it, register for it, and come and be awestruck by it -
I'm looking forward to being trained in some Tsubaki tech by the great PK this weekend :3
-
You might want to elaborate on that for people that may not be in the know of what you're referring to
-
Looking forward to it. Everyone should come down to Orlando for this!

Dat Initial D.

Lol sorry I live in the center of the state? :P

I wasn't complaining, just replying to what Jyosua said about the long drive. I didn't complain about driving to SU4 either, I just find it relieving that I'll only have to drive 15 minutes to Winterfest/Surge instead of 2 1/2 hours because yes, gas is pricey. Nice to have a tournament close by for a change is what I'm getting at, hell, if Winterfest/Surge were in Tampa/Jax, I wouldn't excactly complain either, I'd suck it up and make the drive there to support the game.
-
Whatever man, I drove a whole 2 1/2 hours to and from SU4 last month, by myself, with only my iPod to keep me company. I deserve Winterfest and Storm Surge being in Orlando
-
Feels good to have people coming to my city for a change. I just have to drive 15 minutes
-
I've driven it a few times, and Tampa to Orlando is only an hour and a half. An extra 15 minutes for those of you towards the coast of Tampa such as St. Petersburg.
-
The Asus VH236H monitors are the official EVO monitors and is the go to monitor in practically every tournament. I have one for my main computer monitor and it's great. Amazing picture quality and nice design, the only complaint I have are the buttons which feel slightly cheap, but bearable.
-
I'll be at Winterfest. Looking forward to it. And who's driving you, Cary? Lol.
-
I would like to direct AzureRevolver to that quote. ESPECIALLY the bolded part lol :P GO GET 'EM BOY.
-
Yup, a lot of money to import that CSX when I'll be purchasing the stateside release anyway. It's unfortunate, but I'll live with the late start I get on it. Besides, I need to catch up on other games I missed this past fall!
-
Continuum Shift Extend is a retail release, so yes it will be a new disc. I notice that your location is Norway, so I can't really speak for you in terms of international release, but if you want to import it, expect to pay anywhere from $75-$90 USD shipped, it released in Japan on December 17th. Otherwise, you can wait for the English version to come out in North America on February 14th. The "Japanese" and "Asia" versions are two different regioned versions of the game, the only difference as far as I know is that the Asia version comes with English menus, while the Japanese won't doesn't. So if you plan to import, go for the Asia one, which also happens to be cheaper. PS3s are region free so theres no need to change your region, the console will play games from anywhere in the world. Hope that helps
-
I really hope Extend lets you skip to the new scenes without having to replay everything. The story is fine and all, but getting through it all is kinda dull.

His handle was actually Thaitanium. Unless Titanium Beast is an alternate name for him.
