  2. Thanks a lot for the timing tips guys. I'd never have gotten these right otherwise. I got to the point where I can reliably go from Zaneiga to 6C 9 times out of ten, and I can do the dash cancel roughly six times out of ten.
  3. Note to self: don't hold 6 after dash cancel.
  4. Okay, I seem to have the 6C timing mostly down... it's just the dash cancel killing me now. =P
  5. I would DEFINITELY appreciate it. @Zeron: On the ground. I find they usually fall too fast on an air hit to capitalize, except for cancelling and using 623D.
  6. Mostly hits. I get that the D pull is usually best for combos (it's the fastest, even though it can be tough to manage), and from there it's basically j2C and enjoying yourself (:P), but some general tips would be appreciated.
  7. Hmmm, that also seems to explain why I can't seem to hit that after Jayoku. So basically, in terms of delay: Lv1 Zaneiga = No delay Lv2 Zaneiga = Delay till fall CH Lv2 Zaneiga = Delay more How about ground chain hit approaches? Any tips on those? EDIT: Thanks Dusty, I'll do that. I'm also not half-bad with Hakumen, even though I pretty much just abuse his drive. But speed-wise, yeah, these guys are night and day...

  9. I dunno man, it just seems whenever I use Zaneiga I get a counter hit to the face. And I have a little bit of trouble getting 214D~C into 6C right... Starting to get the feeling my fingers just ain't fast enough for Hazama. And that was just an alternative I found that makes the combo easier for me to land. It's not OPTIMAL, I know, but it's a training tool until I can get the 6C bit right. EDIT: Dude, no. Just no. No Jin for me. My main is actually Tager; I picked Hazama more BECAUSE he's hard than anything else. (That and, well, fedora. Witches love fedoras.)
  10. I've been able to sub 6C (66 optional) 5C 2C with 5B 5C or 5B 2C (if the first, use 6DA 4DA etc., otherwise use 4DA 6DA etc.). I'm having enough trouble getting Zan'eiga to connect... seems I can't find the best opportunities for it. It does less damage, yes, but it's more reliable for me...
  11. No, I mean the second chain hit (214D~C, 5C, 2C, 6DA, 4DA...). The one bolded. I can pretty much always sub 4DD for 6DA (and then go into his aerial), but I never seem to be able to connect that 4DA. I'll usually either whiff 6DA from delaying too much, or the target won't rise high enough for 4DA to connect.
  12. Hey everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster. I used to abuse the crap out of Hazama's midscreen combo back in CS1. Since they removed that and I can't do it anymore, I need to pick up some actual tricks with CS2 Hazama. I can't seem to do his "main" relaunch combo (the one starting in 214D~C and going into 6D~A, 4D~A, j.7DA), I always miss the second air hit with the chain. Can I bother you guys to tell me of any relatively simple combos to pick up? (Yes, I know Hazama is complicated by default, but what the hey, something in him HAS to be simple.)
