Just fight and have fun! After learning a couple of combos, go and fight some guys. Doesn't matter if you lose 20:1, as long as you learn from fighting (pay attention to what your opponent does and find counters for it).

Goes through Ignis? I wish I had known that earlier. Was at the Otaku Expo 2012 at the BBPH Booth and was totally fought a very good Relius for the first time. I was totally outclassed (Don't know how to throw break, IB, or Backdash for invul, and I think Heartcar is a DP). So it'll go through Ignis Frontal Circular Saw? What about Ignis Backstab? (That move is used as an approach tool if blocked, right?) Are Relius' normals mostly all faster than Plats'? Oh yeah, is there a vs Relius thread already? Can't find it. XD

Disclaimer: I ain't any good, and all I have is netplay. I play much worse than that "Greatest Arcana Heart 3 Round Ever"... so yeah. Don't know how much of what I say'll count. Anyway, compared to CS2, for some reason matches don't seem as hopeless as before. Back at CS2 every time I move or attack I get counter-hit into a horrible and nasty combo. Now in CSEx, with a faster and longer 5B and a buffed j.C, things really seem to be more not-hopeless now. Combo from throws, ch.bat, ch.cat hammer, and controllable bombs also really helped quite a bit. Even with the overall damage nerf, since I can hit more often and have more tools, the trade off is more than worth it. That's just my opinion though. P.S. Is it just me, or are there a LOT more Taos online? Those matches are SERIOUSLY ANNOYING.

Never had to worry about that one. Tried to learn it, but I just use the j.B>j>C>dj>j.B>j>C>236Axx Air ender. Due to the lag on my country (almost all rooms are zero bar connections, one is uncommon, and 2 almost never happens), complex combos tend to drop a lot. I'd rather take a consistent 3k than something that'd give much less when dropped. Will still practice the more complex yet practical combos for tournaments though. BBPH has one at almost every con.

I'll be waiting for that BBCSEx Plat combo vid. Right now all I can do is 5B>5C>236B. That, and random midscreen heartcars during lag spikes. :P With her damage nerf, that ain't gonna cut it unless my Yomi skills increase from F to E. XD

Mine is in customs too. Expecting to pay $38+ in taxes (seriously). Hate my country.

Kinda reminds me of the time I was playing Blazblue:CS2 on my PSP. My coworker asked me what I was doing and I said: "I'm fighting a big Red Guy with my loli." The room went silent. Followed it up by: "Oh sh-t he grabbed me!"

Depends. I just wish they'd give Plat the same quality that they gave the Excellent Model Core Queen's Gate Alice. That thing looks AWESOME.

Hello there Blibbles! Welcome! You get the jitters when actually fighting players online? Had that when I started too. Here's some tips: 1. Learn some BnB combos from the Plat combo boards. Play and use those against the computer until you can beat Hell level AI. 2. Play online. Go to player matches and join any room that says "jp". 3. Get Ass Kicked. A lot. 4. Fight in Ranked. Be amazed on your Wins. That'd build up your confidence. Good luck! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
