  1. Yeah, that's one of my problems and why I tend to get bodied as soon as someone gains momentum. I just panic and start mashing, desperate for that ONE HIT. It's embarrassing, but oh well. You can afford to be patient with a lead like that, because then the pressure to not screw up is on me more, and all you need to do is wait for that one mistake to like ID or something.
  2. I KNOW! I love how you pretty much just ran up mashing 5A trying to catch me doing something stupid, it was great. GGs, guys. I kept lagging on that cyclone dude so I just... ugh. At least taking a break for now. GGs, still. That comeback he did was legit, too.
  3. I didn't even know people cared about PSR past the initial ranked rush. I can see trying to get it as high as possible when everyone is at 0, but once everyone gets tired of that and just hang out in player match lobbies... eh. It certainly doesn't accurately represent skill. If it did, I'd actually be somewhat decent.
  4. GGs guys. You know who you are. Sorry for the sudden disbanding. Friend wants to go out to grab some stuff real quick. I'll be back in like a half hour or so to remake it or just hop in. GG guys, and that last Ragna mirror was pretty good.
  5. Blinded by golden magnificence, I ate sledge. GG.
  6. GG's to peple I played previously.
  7. So funnily enough I ran into him last night. It was so good to see Cabutler again! "Turtle me when I'm next to you. See how I react then." I guess I get another hash, then!
  8. I wonder if he actually pays attention to the names. It seems like he sends messages to almost anyone he plays against (the fact he held his tongue to Pord Pwnge is rather surprising). So maybe we're all just 'Turtler #So-And-So' to him. Or you'll be pleasantly surprised he has a huge chart on his wall with all of our names, our turtle rating, and hash marks representing how many times that person has beat him. For every hash mark next to our name, is a bone he intends to break. Strangely, I haven't run into him at all, yet. I used to ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time in CS2. I guess I'm never on when he is.
  9. Yuh... I think my connection died. Sorry aboot that.
  10. lol i can't do 'em at all
  11. GGs to Linear. BGs to kinda laggy connection.
  12. Viola's winning quote was perfect.
  13. Was it by a guy named Ace Scope 5? He's a friend of mine and he made Tullius if I remember right with that same detail. If it was, he's probably gonna freak a little. Also I've gotten some compliments on my Ezio! Yay! But I still keep falling for retardedly slow moves that are unblockable...boo. Oh well...live and learn. At least people fall for my tricks as much as I fall for theirs.
  14. Misturugi is a dumb character. A very very very dumb character. He has speed, range, and power. The biggest weakness I see from him is side-stepping and a lot of his mix-up stuff is pretty easily telegraphed. So...yeah, you need to learn him pretty quickly. He's the brain-dead character of the cast, so he's probably gonna be very popular and very annoying to play against.
  15. Honestly, its just learning more about dodging than it is blocking. Always keep moving and you'll avoid most vertical attacks, and you can easily punish with any horozontal attack, especially your 8-way runs. I feel Ezio plays a little bit differently from everyone else, as his strength lies in knowing your opponent's weaknesses. So learning how other chars work is a must for me. His combo starters are ass, but his pokes and 8way run attacks are great. So I have to play defensively with a good bit of yomi. If I do ever take the offensive its usually for a quick mix-up, and then I back up for a shot with the crossbow if they come running, or just space them out again. So I've learned how to duck and weave pretty ok and its gotten me out of stupid masher stuff pretty often. You just need to find your quick attacks and find the holes. Poke 'em, and if they keep pressing buttons, you just gotta keep pressing too. They'll eat shit all day in some desperate attempt to take back the offensive. I've seen it happen A LOT! There's been so many times where I've literally just kept hitting someone with the same attack over and over again because they didn't do anything other than press buttons on wake-up.
  16. Misturugi is such a stupid char...
  17. Yeah, Alpha Fuck, is definitely the worst. His reaction speed is fucking stupid. Also GGs to ranked ppl. Goin' 30-1 because almost no ones has any sort of fundamental knowledge.
  18. Am I alone when I think that the AI is also extremely inconsistent? Some rounds it'll just stand there and die, and then other times its a button reading savage. Sometimes during rounds it'll switch gears and either give me the win or steal it away. Its pretty annoying!
  19. Ezio is best character. Z.W.E.I is second best, but I suck with him as of right now, so Nightmare is taking my main sub spot (does that even make sense?). I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally want to get Z.W.E.I down, if just because he's so cool. I love the idea of his play style, but goddamn, it just feels too slow or too predictable right now.
  20. GGs to Freezama. I was really happy with my Valk play today. I thought I used his wolf pretty well. Now if I could just IAD properly, I could maybe become a real threat. Hazama however...lol. Could be just char knowledge that gave us both the edge, but the poor guy just was getting thrashed on both ends of the board.
  21. Someone needs to learn how to hug more.
  22. What a shitty night...I think I'm just gonna cut my losses and do something else. GGs to everyone. Shout outs to my controller for taking yet another beating.
  23. XBL: JoshuaVv Location: Cortland, New York Mic?: Yeah, but I don't usually put it on unless there seems to an active and cool conversation in the room. You can ask me to put it on though, and I might, if I can. When am I on?: Very often. Mostly on and off late afternoon into late at night.
  24. I'd like to correct myself on some points I made in my previous post. Now that I have more experience in the match-up. Remember how I said not to be that afraid of [w]5B? Be afraid. Be very afraid. If you come in without a hit confirm, you're asking for almost 3k worth of damage, if not more. Its extremely dangerous to approach him on a blocked chain, especially blindly. It'll come out of no where and wreck your shit. So approaching without a chain hitconfirm is just stupid against a Valk who knows what he's doing. Instead, keep him from safely charging you with chain pressure and fly around until you get a hit confirm and then go on the offensive. Be the biggest pain in the ass to catch and you'll be able to avoid a lot of damage and perhaps frustrate him to the the point of a good opening. Rising Fang is your friend here.
  25. I treat it like a dress code. So whenever I enter this thread I be sure to wear six top hats, or a fedora or both if i'm feeling festive
