  1. yes LCDs lag. atm no better option
  2. I envy people that can do this. I practice mbaa everyday now and I am still trash. Takes me 5 hours to learn a combo, but thats just me. I'm glad their are players out there who can adapt and have good hand-eye coordination. Been buying arcade games on console since 2008
  3. Yeah so its just component output then. Never really tried the cables, but i dont think they would look awful as just a regular component Hookup. Get the cables if you want to hook to a monitor ok. I'll just keep using composite cuz im lazy and poor
  4. What I found when researching the component to vga converter option was something I did not like. Have to fork out up to $100 for something you can play on HDTV with component input. Not even sure if it would look like crap, but its more than what i do. I play it with composite on my HDTV. I dont even have the component cables What a bunch of spoiled brats with their bb HD sprites >_>
  5. Im not good at shoutouts thing, and I'm not even good at forum writing, but here it goes: Thank you Myung/Chun for hosting and organizing the event. It was the first I have attended and I really enjoyed it! Sahgren/Rin : Thanks for coming with me in my car. It woulda been a boring ride w/o u, and I the talk on the ride up was awesome ShadowFiend: Thanks for the hype and SkullGirls matches. Tone: Thanks for renewing my interest and hype in AH3. I'm sorry if I forgot about anyone, but It was my first event and I am not really so active on dustloop forums. But I try to meet as many of you as I can, I really appreciate the matches and the good times we shared. Thanks again.
  6. Hello Chun. I did not receive a call from you last night regarding equipment, if you need mine, etc. Could you call me or let me know in the thread or by pm? Thanks. See you tomorrow.
  7. Yeah Rin. I have average size trunk space. As long as its not furniture you need to load, i think it will work. Really big stuff doesnt fit, but decent sized TVs, monitors and consoles should be fine. Send me a pm with contact info and we will set something up.
  8. same here. Learning BB currently, and have been playing mbac a long time. If you have mbaa that would be awesome, i always wanted to play that.
  9. Please send me a pm. We can exchange contact info
  10. Public Transportation from Sonoma is non-existant. And Dayyyyuuum. I didn't think I would be so popular. I have 3 seats in total. You are welcome to join me.
  11. No Problem. I am new to the scene, so I don't really know anyone, but I would love to meet people. And yes, I go RIGHT THROUGH san rafael, it would be not out of the way at all. Have him contact me, it would be my pleasure.
  12. I will plan on coming from NorCal, like Santa Rosa. I don't know if anybody is coming from that far, but I will be leaving around 8am and plan to arrive at 10am. If you need a ride, marin, sonoma, sf, let me know. I can pick you up on the way . I also can bring my ps3 setup. I 'll register on the site, but i use a monitor, so prob dont need that. Anyways send me a pm or respond to thread. Thanks
  13. yes. 10am start time would be just fine with me. I have to travel 2 hours to get there. I don't mind leaving at 8am, and have casuals if tourney doesnt start till 12pm. I can't leave for home after 10pm. This probably won't work. But if worst to worst I'll just leave early, I won't last long. Where do I pre-reg? Do I have to read this whole thread :S
  14. So, does anyone have an estimate of how long this event should take? from previous experience? If its like 12pm-7pm I could swing it. I might just leave early depending. Thanks
  15. lol i might just do that. As long as i dont have to drive home at night and crash into trees
