  3. ^Yeah, thats been around for a while now. You might wanna do mettagiri > 5p > 2s > w/e in the corner on lights, that should help u get it off more.

  6. ^FDC fake outs to command throw is a good strat. Especially if u whore FDC jk period ya know?! Nothing stupid about it at all man On FA's throw range.....IMO it basicly dwells among the worst in the cast...its obviously nothing like Testy's/Dizzy/Ang's, etc. maybe there is some pixel data out there to help out w/ this...

Cause if it was, it must have been extra shitty for R.F. lol, also......is it me, or does around 17:39 on the A-cho 5v5 323c vid at random moments it kinda sound like some dudes fuckin barfing/taking a shit/dieing?? Man, I was thoroughly enjoying this match vid up untill that point....
  8. True. Senkei's shit is on point. But you gotta watch the use of 5farS. It'll whiff if your opp. is crouching and are too small (IN, ZA, MI, etc). Also, againts opp. w/ moves that travel horizontally fast and have invincibility (JA, SL, AN) you can eat a counter hit. Basiclly, sometimes you kinda have to end your strings w/ 2hs-> item or 5farS-> item cause its just safer. Shit...now that i think about it, I believe I've seen certain ch.'s interrupted the 2p->2hs. Yet, that is the safest string to do. Im glad someone brought this up, cause I've notice lately in R.F.s matches hes been keeping his shit hella basic, performing mainly pressure strings w/ lil if any gaps for the opp. to exploit.

  10. Im sure a majority of us here have went "wtf" after performing Mettakiri and seeing your opp. gradually go into the air, or when against MI, her command roll go right through FA while hes still spinning his scalpel....
  11. So, last week i go to a-cho to download the latest ranbat right?? After setting everything as usual, the files all show 0% and have been since last week. Just a minute ago, i when to Shakujii and downloaded a vid from there just to test Flashget, and the file finished. Any ideas as to whats going on?
  12. ^lol Yeah, 6 Respect isnt all its cracked up to be. Its not practicle vs. DP ch, and has to be done early at times vs. ch w/ good throws (ex.TE). Still, its something to add to the arsenal. You could look at it as an "extra conditioner" for setting up a big damage combo off of 6HS just by performing 6 Resp. --> 2p a majority of the match, then switching to 6 Resp.--> 6HS. Takes a while to set-up correctly, but its good shit.....

  14. This man just saved me alot of typing. Good shit, no doubt. Another thing ppl tend to lose sight of is that since Guilty isnt like 75% of all the other fighters in existence were 50% of the cast is almost trash, 25% is Top & the other 25% can hang, the tier lists' at times arent so clean cut, were this ch. is -S-, this one -A- and so forth. Every ch. has some sort of tool to help make them well rounded. Anyone familiar w/ the VF series would understand this. The same issue has been talked about for its tier list, its just not a big deal anymore cause the player base is use to it.

  16. Anakron, after throwing bombs, u have a few options at your disposal... Offensive 1. Super J.- > Air Dash (at the peak of the jump): Essentailly, here your using the bomb as a cover for the aerial rushdown, were u can FD cancel to Ai (j.236p) or use j.d on the way down for opp. w/ poor anti-airs. If your feeling ballzy, FB pogo works as well. 2. After a 2d KD -> Nani Ga deru.. (bomb), run up and do an early 2k (getting a max 2 hits out of it) into -> 2d -> 2s -> jc -> FD: Here , your rushing on the ground attempting to create a combo off the bomb itself after a Knockdown -> item throw (bomb). What should happen is, u hit the opp w/ 2k twice on wake up, then cont w/ the combo, resulting in you Faultless Defending in the air right as the bomb explodes, pop'n the opp. in the air for a nice a nice follow up air combo of your choice. This may take some practice. Defensive 1. U can just sit there, and let your opp. try to get to u......lol 2. U can jump, Super jump, or double jump before the bomb explodes and do a j.Hs: This will get opp.'s attempting to Sj. over the bombs explosion. 3. U can jump & FD cancel very fast and do a j.Hs twice, then Sj, and go for more j.Hs or the aerial rush via Air Dashing: pretty much the ultimate way of defensively utilizing the bombs explosion. Really, the bomb is just what it is, a bomb. But what u can do w/ it various in many ways, much beyond what i even listed. Also, keep in mind that u and your opp. cant tech if hit by the bomb.......also, if u hit your opp. while in the middle of the bombs hit stun w/ something random (mini Faust, Ai, etc), they can tech. These things can cause you to lose the lil adv u get from the bomb. Hope that helps. Edite: Fix'd the 2nd offensive options wording (the bomb combo).
  17. I dont think thats anything really new, DJ.....FA's 2k has pretty much always been that beastly.... Yet on the match up end, there are allot of small minute adjustments needed when playing against 50% of the cast (I-NO, Jam, "good" Anji's, Sol, God knows Baiken)....you cant just FD cancel j.HS and bomb bag all. Not to mention, poking games get mad weird against opp. who are short and fast (5farS againts ZA, cr. I-No, etc). Lastly, must we forget how bad FA's stacks up againts Millia and Eddie??? I think everyone, regardless of skill, should contribute some info from experience to this cause. Also, pointing out good strats used by top players like R.F., Oosaka B, Kii Fa and such should be noted and brought to everyone's attention here. It could really help everyone out in a major way.
  18. Think i can help..... If the "blanket" move your refereing to is 214 + P/K/S (the "ikimasuyo" series), then the FRC is generally there to make the move safe on block, otherwise your prob. gonna eat a combo. S version is probably the best since its an overhead & has the best combo potential on CH. Yet all in all, u dont find high lv Faust players useing it that often.....randomly, but not often. And bomb bag has pplllleeeenty of uses, one of Fausts' main tools no matter what skill lv your at. If you want a good idea of how to use it, id go to youtube and check out some R.F./Oosaka B/Nemo/ vids. Otherwise, im sure somebody else here can give you examples via text form.....iv said enough for today.
  19. That sux, the info would really be usefull right about now. Goin by ball park figures, it seems the Tub (tirai or w/e) come outs at a rate similar to the hammer, maybe a tade less frequent?!? I would actually love to see Fausts' item probability ratio get totally mixed up and some what random in the next game.....

  22. Hah, niiice....heh, sounds like good times. Are u located in Jap. by anychance? Also, in regards to FRC'ing GMW, anybody remember the last combo in the "Dr. Baldhead" combo vid where FRC'd for oki ?!?!? Anyone ever experimented w/ that?? Seems like it has good potential.
  23. From personal exp, if your gonna go for the RC after 6HS to Pogo, running up and 2HS->Pogo is the safest way of cont. the combo. Not to mention, on certain weights your likely to net a Knockdown. Also, if your just stickler on using tension w/ maximum efficiency, just RC Pogo only after u get a CH on 6HS. In this manner, your hella garunteed at least 70% damage on mids to lights, depending on your follow up of course....... I love see'n my oppositions reaction after getting hit by that slow ass 6HS....i really do...
