  1. I know fabhopping doesn't work. And you'll just get throw counter if you try anything on reaction. You have to predict it or get really lucky as Verard said.
  2. Unless the opponent is about to die, if you hit them with TK j2B and they're still in the corner wouldn't it be better to just go for j2B > 5B > 5D(xN) > 236D~A > 6D ? You'll get level 3 drill and a burst safe situation (Any bursts would be easily punished). The corner combo Eshi wrote (j2B > (2A >) 5B > 5D > 236C > 5A > 6A > 623C > 2B > 6A > 623C) nets around 2.4 - 2.7k, so going for drill chip seems like it would be more effective, instead of putting your opponent in the same situation they just saw. Although you still get pressure if they make j2B whiff, I feel having the level 3 drill would give a better payoff.
  3. Nope I wasn't, but I figured something out anyway. 632146D (Goukai) > Rapid (1st hit for best results) > IAD > dash for like 1 second or 2 > IAD > dash into 6D range I got it two work like four times just now and it seems pretty reliable. I'm on the Altar stage and after your first IAD you should start dashing immediately and then right before the middle of the altar, do the next IAD, and then as said above dash into 6D range.
  4. I'm having trouble with the fullscreen Dash/Zettou after 632146D (Goukai). Any tips to help ?
  5. That new grab super he has..I got caught by it so many times, and I still don't know how it works. It got me both in the air and on the ground as if its tracking me. Just curious if anyone knows how it works at all. Edit: So I went into training mode to see how this super works. Bang can't use it unless he has all four seals. When used it tracks the opponent and Bang grabs them from behind, either on the ground or in the air. If he uses it while you're in the air it'll track the air, if you're on the ground it tracks you there, but you could jump or fabhop out if you're grounded. Don't see anything to get out of the aerial version so far though.
  6. Well when you put it like that then maybe our main focus in this MU would be to just zone and poke with C normals. And yeah I tested the Hariken Drill vs Spark Bolt in training mode and its reactable at certain distances. So to make it useful in the MU i'd just go for knockdown, set up drill, poke with normals until you get a hit then combo if you can. And when it comes to trying to pressure I feel like fabhopping in and then canceling another fabhop out could be used to bait back dashes and then you could possibly punish with a C normal. Being up in tagers face doesn't seem very smart but if you happen to be you could do something like 2A > 2B > fabhop backward > j.C > fabhop > and then here you could go for extended pressure with a j.B but if you want to bait something you could j.2B which will counter hit Atomic Collider, make 360 attempts whiff, and if they try to backdash make sure to fabhop out cause a 360 could be coming your way. Edit: I said Spark Bolt is easily reactable vs Hariken drill but I forgot to check diff distances on the screen. Basically the closer you are to Tager the easier it is for him to react to it. At full screen its unreactable.
  7. It has to be C instead of D for that to even make sense
  8. I notice alot of tagers will just randomly throw out a Spark Bolt in neutral or on wake up for free magnetism, if they're in a position to do it safely that is, but throwing out a drill (236D~A/B/C) prevents this cause it'll just nullify the projectile. This seems like a good tool in this matchup due to the fact its already hard for tager to get in and taking away one of the only fullscreen options he has is a very good thing.
  9. I honestly feel like you should just try and find any Amane gameplay from Gamechariot matches or off of Jourdals Youtube channel. Amane doesn't even have mixup so I doubt you'll find any trying to play a mixup oriented game. But here are some notable players straight off the Amane Video Thread: Shadow Hinane-chan SpinKing Jiro Ora Sonya-Chan
  10. You have to rapid the Gosei pretty early, if anything as early as possible. I haven't been able to do it consistently though..don't know if that's cause of me not having good enough execution or it just being difficult to connect.
  11. Alright that makes sense, and I believe it was 3C I was testing. I got really confused and thought it was a bug in training mode or something :s
  12. Okay so I was in training mode and I was trying to figure out some tech punishes but it seemed as if the dummy would never tech roll to the right or left whenever I went for knockdown. (Yes I had my settings correct..at least I believe so) But my question is: Does Amane have a special property on any of his moves that forces only neutral tech or did I just do something wrong in my training mode settings ?
  13. Thanks, also I didn't see any combos for Gekiren starter in corner so I'll just leave one here. 623C (Gekiren) > 2B > 236C (Raibu) > 6A > j.B(3) > JC > j.B(3) > j.2C/4C > j.236B (Zettou) > j.B(3) > j.236C (Gosei) [DM:4102/HG:29]
  14. Does anyone know whats optimal to do after landing a raw crush trigger, meterless and with meter ?
  15. Any PC setups? I'll bring mine for Melty if anything. (hopefully I wont forget my charger this time) I also have Skullgirls if thats gonna be a thing, idk how it turned out last time cause I left before it even happened.
  16. Is j.D hitstop during OD long enough for j.D loops?

  22. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MskM9TFhOHI&feature=player_detailpage A first to 5 between me and my friend. I've been having a tough time playing this matchup and any advice would be appreciated.
  23. Sure, why not. Practical or not, anything combo related should be posted i'd assume.
  24. Thanks, that didn't even come to mind. I was confused as to what that meant for a while now lol.
  25. In the corner Throw Starter section, what does the O in "OB" from the air throw combo stand for?
