So after getting caught up in the Capcom Hype Train with UMvC3 and SFxT, I want to come back to BlazBlue again with Extend. But by now, I've kinda changed my mind about what type of character I like, I'm realizing I feel most comfortable just zoning people out (I don't know why it took so long, I always play mages or archers in RPGs anyway...) I would of wanted to play Rachel since she's my favorite character anyway, but the problem is that she's way too hard and complex, I'm not into really execution-heavy characters. So I'm wondering, what are the easiest zoners to learn in this game? Currently playing Lambda, is she good for a relative newbie? Or maybe I should I just try to stick it out with Rachel?

Simple, I picked Hakumen because I like the slow, powerful type of characters. Unfortunately for me, Blazblue only really has two characters who fit that, and the other one is Tager (I'm not really into grapplers.) ...although I'm still hoping that they finally introduce a third. Maybe even a female character? Kokonoe in a mech? I can dream...

Before BB:CT, the only "fighter" I played was SSBB. Then my brother wanted to try out BB:CT when it was about to come out, and after looking at it for myself, I liked the characters, music, and the anime-stylization. I picked up BB:CT on 360 on day one. Coming from SSB where I liked Ganondorf and Zelda because of their slow-but-powerful style, I picked Hakumen, and have been playing him ever since.

Hey, I've played this game for a while, but only casually, and I'm still pretty bad anyway. I never bothered to make an account here before. Anyways, I might want to find myself a new main. I'm into the characters that are slow, but have a lot of power and range. Obviously that means I'm playing Hakumen atm, but I don't really like him that much as a character, which is a little important to me. Does anyone else fit that same archetype as Hakumanz? Everyone else seems to be either a speedy rushdown type, a projectile zoner, or Tager (not into grapplers.) I particularly like to play as female characters, but I'm not against playing male characters.
