WHERE ARE THESE NEW DESIGNS I WANT MY SEIMITSU CLEAR PS-14-K BUTTONS TO BE COOL AND HIP I guess I should also contribute something. An HRAP3 with the faceplate of an HRAP2. It was rusty, so we had to sand-off the rust, and cover the whole thing with a layer of clear packaging tape to keep it from coming back. Seimitsu LS-32, 8x Clear Seimitsu PS-14-K (+ 3x Blue & 1x Red PS-14-K rims), 2x Clear Seimitsu PS-14-DNK. PCB replaced with a PSX controller. Waiting on a plexi to arrive so I can cover that control panel hole. Buttons: LP - Birds of Paradise MP - Birds of Paradise HP - Birds of Paradise (Fuck Magic, srsly.) 3P - Big Al's Aquarium LK - Burger King MK - 渡良瀬準 (Watarase, Jun from Happiness!) HK - Little Debbie (of snack cake fame) 3K - Willy Wonka's Chewy Centre Gobstoppers Of course, these are all place holders until I get that plexi and some art printed. EDIT: Taokaka stick art WIP. Don't know why I'm making this, I don't even like Taokaka. I guess I thought the chibi art was too kawaii to not use. Still needs a little cleaning up.

I don't like that the game is misrepresented in that the no-fun, quick-stepping tournament-style ITG2 players are non-existant in this movie.

Why is your wiring so gdlk? Why are you using a Vewlix layout? Why are quick link shafts so gay? Unrelated: Do you know anything about basic LED wiring with power from a PS1 pad PCB? I don't need fancy colours and shit, I just want white LEDs under all my buttons to light up on activation, but it seems like so much real information about electronics. Edit: I hate going through stick art threads because they always make me sad. Either because people are upscaling images (often without even maintaining the original image's aspect ration) or because people do godlike things I will probably never get to even touch in real life.

Waterloo stick "modding"! madscientist, bill307, and LaN5x are making their way to Final Round as I write this, but madscientist left me his HRAP and his tools, and I also have bill's HRAP sitting here too. I took them all apart and moved shit around. Bill's! Before, the left 6 were light blue, and the right 2 were white. I replaced them with Vermillion and Grey (black rimmed) buttons. I would have stuck a Vermillion balltop on the joystick, but Linear's an asshole and never gave me one. The only reason those Start/Select buttons are Yellow Hori buttons is because I don't have any 24mm buttons besides the ones I'm using. madscientist's! Derek used to have only 6 Dark Hai buttons buttons, and two exposed holes on the left side. His plate was pretty poverty (no sticker, starting to rust), so I gave him my HRAP3 plate (even though it's still an HRAP2!). I took the blue rims off of Bill's old buttons and put 'em here. The white rims too. And I guess the white plungers for the right 2 was well. Again, there's two Vermillion plungers, but one red plunger (notice the lightly darker Medium Punch button), again, because Linear's an asshole. Mine! My stick hasn't changed much, I just traded plates with madscientist so that my Seimitsu LS-32 would finally mount properly. The plate is covered in a layer of packaging tape, so the rust won't come back. If you didn't know, I don't have a control panel because I replaced the PS3 PCB with one from a padhacked PS1 controller. The mechanical aesthetic with the clear buttons is fun, but I'm just waiting for my plexi cover to come in so I can have some custom art. The Jun button is no longer a Sanwa trap button.

HRAP3 SE? As in the one that comes with an LS-32 and PS-14-Gs? No, this HRAP3 came with a JLF and ten Hori buttons, sir. :') Thank you, sir. The buttons came from a plain HRAP3 that looks like this except the four buttons in the control panel are all the same size and lined-up horizontally. I am so sure of this. Identical switches, man. Identical. It could be just the button casings are different enough for the buttons to feel different? fuck that, aquapizza all day
-
Cool story: Hori and Seimitu use the same microswitches (at least, in the HRAP3 buttons and the Seimistu PS-14-Ks). They are identical, down to the production codes stamped on them.

YEEEAAAH! I couldn't believe I found a hi-res pic, but it had words all over the hair. Thankfully, the black magic algorithm known as Adobe's content-aware fill let me cut it out with relative ease.

How does Toronto feel about my きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ stick art?

Everyone give me all of your old buttons. All of them. I wonder if gety will give me old buttons.
