Pretty much this. I've gotten into the habit of doing A sledge after 3C, but even with mag, I normally forget AC because I either can't connect J.2C or I just flat out forget. Lesson of the day is to practice and get used to it.

I'll be getting this in March. Finally a training mode, so much stuff I wanted to try out with Tobi and other people before.

For me, they either use em for reversals or they rage burst off 5A, or they wait for the time to run out if they score off a simple mistake. It is what it is. I do the same thing too, hold off on bursting or my ass gets destroyed because of it due to a simple fuck up. :V Also, I've been finding myself using Sledge combos more often because lolnetplay.

If anything, I know how you feel on that one. I've just gotten used to ironing out QCF's on the analog stick or D-pad (the latter got easier at some point). If anything, keep practicing and you'll get it. Only advice I can give, really. Focus on Technical more, since it's more rewarding then using Stylish if you want to be decent.

Okay, got Extend, finally. Why in the holy balls is 3C > AC so hard for me to do on a Dualshock. ;_; Gonna be in the training room for some time.

Looks like I need to buy a new DS3, since my blue one is acting up and going lol random inputs whenever I shake it even slightly (and hear stuff moving inside... ._.). Either way, I may buy a new one for Extend. This one only lived for a few months I think, compared to the one I got with the PS3 when it came out. Must be because I'm a butterfingers and I have crappy luck

A hell of a great read, Stick. I fall under the "broke college student that can't attend majors" category, and even if I could go, there's the problem of parents being untrustworthy of me and blah blah blah. Honestly, I picked up BB from a friend around Junior Year of high school and it all kind of tumbled down from there. Played online, always wanted to go to a tourney even if I sucked, but I have horrid self esteem issues. I normally had friends to play with before we all split up, so it's just little old me and online. I didn't even care that people thought it was a "crappy anime game" or anything like that, I just liked the game. I didn't even get to searching around until about a year after I'd started playing. I think at the very least I should start looking/going around to any BB scenes in the city or at least in another borough. I think we just need to get our heads together and do something, support the game to the end and screw the haters (hell, I still get grief for liking Digimon :l). Props to the people holding the events, and I'll try to get a can of courage and attend something instead of just playing online half the time. Hell, might as well just go to Next Level Arcade, seeing as how I'm a train ride away. <_<

Honestly, the calender is also tempting. :X And no, I don't think the mapping hasn't changed unless I'm wrong.

I think I'm in love with that pic. And long time lurker, first time joiner here. Been using the big guy since...a few months before CS2, I think? (bought CT then sold it within a week because a friend then told me about CS1). Decided to join up because I haven't played for a few months and what with Extend coming up, I figured "what the hey?"
