  1. Take home lesson for tonight folks: Play Mitsuru, Chie, or Aigis and 9/10 matches you will win no matter what. GGs to ShinSyn's room.
  2. BGs to me for not punishing shitty Mitsurus on a lot of things.
  3. GGs cookie. You kept pressing buttons as though I was trying to throw you like everytime I got close to you. I'm disappoint I didn't catch on until I stopped caring. In my head I was like "Bang doesn't even press this many buttons".....and then I played him and pressed a lot of buttons.
  4. I should have stayed at 0 PSR. I still don't want to sit in Ranked all day. I'll eventually get around to doing it. Plus I don't wanna get a bunch of PSR like my friend and be a big fraud.
  5. That feeling when you face your friend for the first time and see he is A ranked and has 608 PSR only to find out he isn't that hard to beat. Either this game really is too easy (considering he isn't super amazing at FGs), or he found some poor soul to bully in Ranked for awhile. Probably both are true.
  6. If you're able to play around 3:00pm or so I'll play you. Wish I didn't have 3 classes today cause I've been practicing some stuff and haven't gotten around to actually playing recently.
  7. GGs Neo. I'm surprised I still somewhat remember how to fight some of these characters. Was sad as fuck when I went for BK and got Carnage Scissors. At the last second I was like "Wait...I'm Ragna with 50 heat in the corner. My opponent needs to die" I guess my last minute realization caused the messiest inputs and wasted heat. Oh well. Just wish I was better so we could have closer matches. Close matches usually equals fun matches. Also GGs to Zeth last week. Went to sleep right after we played and forgot to post.
  8. Also you can break free of her DP just by teching like it was a regular grab. I'm pretty sure if it's CH though you can't, also like a regular grab. So this is also an option, but of course DPing back would be better.
  9. GGs. I still don't understand half of these characters and their shenanigans. And if you don't understand you insta die.
  10. If you're still on in an hour I'll play....even though I said I should take a break. Can't tell if I'm determined or just like frustrating myself.
  11. It sounds like I'm trying too hard to improve cause that never really happens for me.
  12. GGs. I might just take a break for awhile. I count how many times I felt like I was doing the right thing, and then I messed up once and it just went downhill.
  13. Has anyone had the "The match between *insert the players name* has begun" appear midmatch while you're watching after someone does a One More Burst cancel? It's like the game knows shit just got real.
  14. Well I'm still learning. I got the game pretty late and to me it seems like most of my hits are coming less from tricks and more just Yosuke being fast.
  15. I've actually never played GG against others before, but if I were I would pick Chipp. Ragna just.....Idk really. I guess cause CS1 he could combo anywhere and I was like "The character is so beginner friendly, why not?" Bang isn't the same as Yosuke and Chipp to me, and the only other mobile characters are Tao and Hazama. I don't really care for them. Speed is definitely something I like to see in a FG character though.
  16. What makes you think I would play Yu? Just cause I played Ragna before doesn't mean I go for main character/guy with good DP.
  17. I'd be playing if it weren't for Sony and their system updates. Like I give a damn about trophies. And why is this Chie winning from jumping around like an idiot?

  19. If you're pushed back far enough from BE (usually you are, but I might be wrong), you can just do 5D>CID>Straight Punch>CU 3C and it will work as long as proration is fine. Proration might be your problem if they tech out. This usually happens coming from midscreen to the corner since you probably used 5D(2) at some point. Doing 5D(2) again won't let you land the CU 3C. Also a lot of combos that use DID>Straight Punch requires that you do DID(1). You have to cancel into 214C before the second hit of DID and the timing is weird until you practice it a lot. I think it does a little bit more damage and has the Soul Eater effect on the first hit iirc. If you don't feel like doing that, then CID is your best bet since you should already be spaced for one hit of the initial attack after a BE>5D(2).
  20. Well now that I think about I probably should have realized it would be pretty hard to make people block after an air tech, but what about popping them off the ground? Can they tech in the air? If not then wouldn't it be ok to do that since it looks like they're knocked some distance back? Personally that would be something I would do if they're kinda close to the corner since both that and knockdown would get them blocking. Then when they're in the corner I would knockdown and use setups that would get me more damage (if they hit) than I would have from midscreen. I feel like there's something I'm missing, but it sounds like it would work to me.
  21. So there's no possible resets where someone is forced to block? Not even in the corner? I'm just curious. I don't play GG (yet) and I know knockdown is strong and all, but I'm sure there is some character that has some sort of ability to reset and still force them to block/react quickly.
  22. GGs. It was pretty fun when I wasn't running into DPs Commitment: It happens in both FGs and real life.
  23. You can try to react to her DP with a DP of your own if you just 5A/2A on her wakeup since your A will whiff. Meaty 5B works too of course. Pretty much the only the last hit connects if she blocks, but it that still blows up throw mash (giving you a CH combo into Dash Spring B) and gives you time to DP. Another option is to 5C from afar. You should recover into to get a CH 5A and go into Dash Spring B. Kunai works pretty well against her I think. Especially if they try to sit and AA a lot. Any other time I usually hit Thanatos since most Elizabeths seem to never lift their finger off the C button. Instant block the laser for some free meter and use that to boost your offense where you see fit. Break her persona and I imagine she will want to j.B a lot more since it's probably the move w/o Thanatos that can annoy us. If possible, run under and 2B, otherwise look for 5B and punish as mentioned above. Throwing out Jiraiya doesn't seem too amazing of an option seeing as how Elizabeth is usually sitting on her ass having Thanatos throw out hitboxes and J.B also can beat him. If anything, throw him out after you see her commit to a button (Specifically whenever a j.B would whiff) in the air and run behind him.
  24. If you end up tossing them high in the air (like after a AU setup 2B combo) and end with Kunai, what do you guys normally do? They're pretty high in the air and can air dash at anytime plus you still gotta deal with divekick-type moves, or any other move the opponent can use in the air to stall/change trajectory. Is it best to do that stuff when you have meter for Garudyne and get knockdown, or is there something I'm missing?
