I assumed you were trolling when you picked subs (especially with all these videos with around here with your subs) so I was like "Ok I'll play along" But then I realized that wasnt helping me get better and luckily both stopped acting dumb at the same time. I think I kinda sorta understand Baiken's guard cancels now, but still just gotta keep playing.
  2. GGs to TrollBadguy. Yo. This game. It's fucking amazing. Even you when you get bodied it's fun. Plus I was learning a lot so that's always good. Sorry Zeth. I planned on fighting you and actually assumed Trollbadguy was just gonna be like "Alright I'm done bodying you", but we played for a good while and I just wanted to chill for the rest of the night.

  5. So I'm new to GG and I was reading in PSN thread about Baiken sealing buttons. How does that work and what does it look like when it happens?

  8. GGs Zeth. Thankfully the netcode wasn't bad like every1 has been saying. Playing and watching GG are two WAY different things. Gotta practice up so I can play those GG gods.

  12. GGs. I think that double down was pretty silly. I looked down at my meter by accident after Dead Spike and was like "Oh 40-ish heat? We got this.....*gets Hotenjin'd*...oh that's my meter :(" I Still gotta play a little more patient, but it's not gonna happen over night.
  13. No I just hate Mu and tbh it's a halfway decent way to stop her from just throwing steins out/activating lasers, if I were to use it every now and then. It's probably my most hated matchup besides Arakune. Just in general I haven't had enough patience lately which just fucks me over.
  14. Well of course it would be more optimal, but maybe we should do like Titanium Beast said in a earlier post and not focus on a high/low mixup midscreen. Remember his throw combos got a bit stronger midscreen both in damage and corner carry thanks to new HF. Not saying don't do 6B midscreen, but it would definitely suck if you lost momentum just cause they blocked right. This new HF keeps looking better and better. I can't count how many matches where my opponent was about to die and I just got 50 heat from the last part of the combo, but I wasn't close enough to the corner to do anything. If there's ever a list of important combos to learn I think this should definitely be in there.

HF's P2 is 82 now On the subject of the hit confirming 6B>whatever, wouldn't 6B>5D(1) be easy to confirm since you can get ready to ID and if they block it you can at least go into DS and I think BS too whereas 6A is pretty much you committed to doing that and know they wont block it. Plus it's a lot easier to see and get ready to press buttons on a blocked 6A than 5D(1).

Well this worked AA CH 5C>5B>5D(1)>GH(1)>5A>5B>5D(2)>HF(1)>5A>5B>5D(2)>D ID and that was 3.4k If we could do Dash 5b> 6A > j.214d then Ragna isn't even nerfed as far as I'm concerned that would be EX damage or close to it and corner carry more than likely. Only difference from EX to CP would be we just couldn't do it easily off 6B.
  18. Apparently 5D(2) > HF(1) > Stuff works. If there's a lot hits beforehand I imagine its: Whatever > 5D(2) > HF(1) > 5A>5B > DID ender Maybe after 2D RC > Midscreen you can do 5C > 5D(1) > HF > stuff otherwise you just do 5D(2) > HF(1) > Stuff

  21. Well to specify I didn't mean like just jump cancel and crossup. I meant something like Yosuke sweep > 5D > jump over and crossup 5DD. Something like that or something quick like Akihiko EX Duck crossups. Stuff like that is hard to block. Pretty much seems like you're guessing.
  22. I just did it a few times in training and I only get to 14 hits. Pressing 2 buttons with one finger just doesn't let me go fast enough.
  23. Yeah I did that day 1 and trying to switch back to hold the controller normally after AoA mashing was annoying. Especially since you have to actually press those 15 extra buttons compared to the 7 I do.
  24. You actually can assign a button to A+B and you only need to hit it 7-8 times.
