With Zato, watching videos and then grinding matches is a much better use of time than anything you could read IMO. Nothing you can read will make you good at negative edge, you just need to get used to the character by playing a lot.

I think she's at the very least above average. C javelin is an insanely good projectile, j.C, j.2C, j.D, and 5C are all really solid moves that are quite fast for how much space they cover. I think those moves on their own give her a strong neutral game. Her 2B is reasonable, not super good but still quite strong. Since they have to respect so many of your options, you can go in with surprise 5Bs and get pressure when they don't expect it. On top of all that, she has good mixups tools. 2A, Gods hand, sweep and 5D are all pretty fast moves that let you mix people up off even a max range blocked 5C. Her defense isn't as strong as some characters since she has no fast poke and her DP is a grab, but it's not like her defense is super atrocious or anything. But it's still first week so who knows.

something fun: a neat corner punish starter might be 2C 214214B. You can combo off of it using either (delayed)sj j.B j.214B j.C 2B or sj j.B j.214B j.B j.214AB. They both bring you back to the ground nicely. I haven't experimented with what to do after that, but it's a cool starter. I haven't seen anyone post about it anywhere so I thought I'd share

Oh yea I kind of understated the importance of not being too far lol, if you let Kagura get a B orb out you are gonna have a bad time For pressure, I'd be careful about using 6B though, it's pretty easy to react to if they're looking for it, or even if they're not. VS Kagura I like to re-establish pressure with 2B dash 2A, 5C(2C)2D, and micro-dashed 2As, because there's no one animation he can look at and say "FLASHKICK TIME"!! 2C maybe, but the gap in 5C 2C is a lot smaller than 5C 6B.

yes, like tao you don't wanna use 5B when you reset pressure, or as a starter or you'll get smacked in the ankles. Kokonoe is definitely a character to watch out for right now, so if anyone has had a lot of EXP with this MU, the rest of us could use your knowledge lol

When I hit raynex w/ the j.C, I was gonna go for a burst bait on the next hit because he couldn't burst there but he bursted there soooo yea Vs Kagura I'd use a lot of the multihit forewards drill thing from ada, because he wants to hold that down charge and not get out of the way. Additionally Kagura's air normals are all kinda wonky so you can probably fight him air to air w/ carl. Vs Carl, flash kick unblockables

it's fully invincible, unblockable, and active for over a second. Some characters have answers to it (I think you can get out with Azrael DP and maybe tager sledge) but most characters can't do anything about it(counters don't even work because you can't counter unblockables). Comboing into it builds about 30 meter iirc, so if you start with 40 meter you can loop it twice and kill. I dunno how much damage you get off of it if you loop it, but doing a normal meterless combo off it can give up to 5K. edit: according to zomb on twitter, Koko 5B = 12k damage if she starts with 18 meter.
