2C discourages jumps/chicken blocking.

This was the first time this happened, and I've thrown people into the coffin like 20 times before.

Ah, that makes sense. I never knew the AoA had timing and I just assumed you were to do it as fast as possible.

So I literally just played a match, and when I wanted to end the match with AOA > Momento Mori, but when I did the AOA, my opponent flew like twenty thousand feet in the air. Has this happened to anyone else? Why does this happen, is a better question. I can upload the replay, if anything.

What do you guys think of using 2C for a meaty oki? I got it to work on some people last night, the basic idea is that if you think they're gonna mash buttons, the super armor will absorb the hit, and you'll CH them for a juicy corner combo.

Well, you should know that Next Level uses Xbox. I dunno if you have a modded stick or what have you, but you can always rent a stick there for a pretty reasonable price.

So I did a grinding session today in preparation for TSB tomorrow, and I FINALLY got the 5C (2) > j.D tech trap to work. My God is it so beautiful to hit people with it. Ironically, I was able to use it on the same people more than like, twice.

For the most part, I record a lot of the matches I play. Whether or not I post them is a different story lol. I'll see what you can do tomorrow, I've been dropping the Garu elevator combo, but I hope I'll be hitting it tomorrow. I'll try to be there for 12 btw, so we could get in a good amount of casuals.

A.Zio is pretty good in this match-up, since you can beat fans from full screen most of the time. Sb.Agi beats her Agi move (not sure if that's the name, but it's the move where she makes the flames slide across the ground). Dia is still an issue against her, and I'm not sure how to beat except run up and press buttons.

Today when I was playing, I tried to do the Sb.Zio > 5C (2) > j.D tech trap. I couldn't get it to work to save my life. Is there a specific height or something to it? I'm pretty sure the players I faced were teching on the first possible frame.

So I was dicking around in training mode, and I was thinking about ending some midscreen combos in B.Bufu > Sb.Agi > Dia. Is it even worth it to stuck dia at the end of combos? From what I could tell, you gain so little health back, in addition to having to give up health to special cancel agi into dia. Dia kinda seems sucky in that regard.

236B is mainly for corner combos. I find it that if I put in 236B immediately after the 2C, it'll connect. You can always mash out the the 5B after the 236B.

So after some serious time in the lab today, I was able to do pretty well. I was even beating people I couldn't beat before . I'm finally confident in my ability to play this game lol.
