GG to those who showed up in my random room. It was nice to play for a few hours again, and I think I found out what I want to do after getting some healthy amount of game-play in. I'll be learning Makoto from here on out. I'll continue to play around with Baki, but I'll be adopting Makoto as my main. At least I've managed to reach a decision on this... (Next week it'll change, watch)

I dunno. I mean pure rushdown... Managing meters and resources seems to steal from a rush down game in my opinion. Rush down should be get in there, connect, and deal damage (once more my thoughts). Not get in there, do damage, pause to get a charge and get back in there, which I know you can do (charge after 214X in air gives at least one charge). I'm still tinkering with Tsubaki in lab to learn things, but I don't think I'm ready to face people in matchs with her yet because I just haven't learned to place those charges properly. That made more sense in my head before I typed it.

Yeah, Cookie, I think I'm going to avoid netplay for a little and just do Challenges and Lab. Find a comfort zone. I usually play rush down, and I think it's time I tried out BB's rush down characters. I'll still practice with Mu/Tsubaki on the side, but despite how much I love them as characters I might have to face that they don't fit me as a player. Comfort zones are not matching up with interests. Sad days.

I'll keep that all in mind. I know about 5B being good still, and I know about 6CC thanks to playing a bit with Dreiko, I just need to stop auto'ing it and over pressing C on the 6C input and press some other button instead. -head scratch- I do fine with her in lab and challenges, it's just when you start playing people it's a lot different and I'm out of touch with that aspect. How do I put it, it's bad knowing what I need to adjust but not being able to apply it. I think I need to consider a character more in my comfort zone play wise, because managing so much resources and what not. Ugh I'll stop this is starting to sound like a bucket of bad excuses. It's just a lot of being out of touch with the game (and my mains) right now, and being away for so long. I was even having trouble with my dashing, which is pretty garbage of me.

GG to Scrubby Bubbles room. I'm so damn terrible. I need insane amounts of lab time, and refer to challenge mode I guess to figure out who I want to play... A month away has left me really out of touch with Blazblue, and its mechanics.

My computer! It lives again! What is all this talk about Dere~Dere and Yan~Yan and Tsun~Tsun?

Hence Basketball Player. :D

I'm usually open to play in the evening EST time. so like 6pm onwards. Weekends I have a lot more time since we don't put out news on Neo on the weekends for some reason. /: On that note: my hand hurts from practicing that j.C timing, but man is that sj.C killing me just because I can't get a sj off all the time. Means more and more practice for me~ On that note, I thought Sacchin was a basketball player not a grappler? :x /badjoke

Hi. I'm just recently getting into Melty Blood and playing C-Sacchin/Catsuki/C-Satsuki. :3 My netplay is kind of stable-ish (gets a little laggy at times), and I'm still learning things...
-
You know you're mashing when you do Sacchin's 5C four times in a row... Either that or Netplay is saying "Fu your inputs!"
-
Weee I played Melty with Sayuri! And lost 80% of my matchs. Only decent ones were as Sacchin. :x I'm so mashy...

Omen on Air Combos : aswghkiowaigpaiwjprgojswpdg /Fact Anyhoo~ I'm on the same boat with ya there Ax. I can do marginally well at a number of things, but I never get very good. Unless I persist on them of course. Only thing I really excel at is writing.

I've always liked Kokonoe. :3 Too bad she's not playable (yet). Otherwise I wouldn't be having such a character selection crisis like I am having with Blazblue. Now I'm looking at possibly trying to Noel yet Noel out in addition to Mu because I am having fun with her challenges so far, but I'm still stuck on the first one in Extend where they have you jump cancel in a combo... Fact: I never knew how to Jump cancel and now I do. Still haven't finished that mission yet, however.

Erik loses money because of that logic. He does the mod work, and the graphics, and then charges barely anything over what the stick cost him and the materials. Half the time it's just free work for his friends. I can't speak much since he is doing my Kokonoe themed stick... Ehh, but still. You're paying that person for parts, labor, and their time. I respect digital artists who do a lot of that stock art stuff, because to be honest last time I tried I got frustrated and gave up. I'll just stick to traditional drawing. :3

Wow talk about color loss. That's pretty sweet, none-the-less. lol, tho. I really turned the GD into Sacchin/Melty general for a bit there didn't I? :x

Nice art C0R. My photoshop powers are at 0. -sighs- Computer is crapped out, I'm working in safe mode right now trying to fix it. Got work to do and can't get to it until this POS is fixed.

Is because Sacchin is kawaii.

Shiki is just Sugar and Ice... Not really Tsundere. But eh, I just am more partial to Kara no Kyoukai than Tsukihime. Personally the new VN is making me love Aoko more as a character, especially those interactions with Alice. Still want more Sacchin, Sion, and Roastbeef love tho. They stole my heart in Carnival Phantasm. <3

Vote Lumin for best Ragna. <3 ~silly~ Nah, when I say that about Ryougi, I mean that more in terms of the anime and stories and all the content of the Nasu-verse. I just really like Ryougi's character the most out of all the Shiki's. Game play wise, I like her just because her style is pretty easy. Confirmed for pocket character for me. On the other hand, I actually like Sacchin a lot too. She's adowable, and her flipped state is pretty awesomely portrayed in some art and stuff. She's sort of Yandere and I find that hawt... Granted I doubt she qualifies maybe "Cute and Psycho," aka Yangire.

Space Magic.

I have to agree, and disagree, since I love Ryougi and Sacchin in equal amounts... Probably not acceptable, but Sacchin just is more fun to learn because it's not so...easy... She's my favorite Shiki tho. Definitely more BAMF than Tohno and Nanaya in my opinion.

I sometimes play the Lens...I have a lawlrrible playthrough of White Len's arcade on Youtube. I like the speed on Len, and those teleports on White Len are interesting. Don't know too much beyond that...
-
Aoko is awesome. The problem with Melty is it has a handful of some of my favorite Nasu-verse characters and I want to play them all~ But in the end I picked Sacchin. Why? Because she's so kewt.

I need to learn to combo after her command grabs then. I know I can air dunk if I launch them, and should be able to dribble at some point in certain combos...unless that's a F/H thing. But yeah, I haven't learned that much yet. I'm just getting comfortable with finding what set ups lead into command grabs and which moves are the grabs. I want to assume 421, 63214, 236 are all grab inputs... That's just by pulling them off on inputs. So my guesses could be wrong. I really don't think I can just theory learn her in lab...
-
I'm so bad with grapple characters... Then again I'm attempting to learn Sacchin, and she can arguably be considered the same. /: Is Sacchin considered a grappler?
