Fo Sho. I'm trying to get back into these games. I think I might pick up Extend. I have P4 pre-ordered. I can't do casuals in person, but I'm down to hop online on the week ends.

Yeah, I joined the Air Force. I was in Texas from Mar.-May. I've been in Miss. since then. I'll be leaving here in Dec. to god knows where.

Yeah, I'm trying to forget about it. Screw all that crap. Rivalries are cool, it makes stuff intense, but all this stuff done just for ratings on stupid web shows and stuff is ridiculous. I also made a skype account, so just give me the name of the chat room or whatever.

If I can get a ride I will come to casuals on Friday. On a side note, what do you guys think of the Mike Ross/Jago fake beef thing? How will stuff like that affect the FGC and esports?

That's definitely a possibility. I'll have to ask my parents and see what they say. My mom actually brought me to Warren to hang with my cousin, and then he and I went to casuals.

Thanks for all the info guys. You guys are pretty awesome. Referring to the whole BB being easy thing; I don't think games like Marvel of SF4 suck or anything. I think they all have their merits. Pumped to play with you guys on Friday.

Oh, ok thanks. I need to learn my terminology. If the main gripe with the game is the ease in which people can perform combos, then that's pretty stupid imo. From what little I've learned so far I know a game is much more than just combos.

I wasn't into CT that much so I'm unfamiliar with that game. I have noticed that in CS the game system is a little more lenient with the inputs, but the combos are much longer so I thought maybe that equaled it out. As I said before Tekken is also SUPER easy to do combos in and people don't just shit on that game. Also, what is a "hipstop"?

I asked this question in the general section and I received no replies. I'll ask you guys instead. Why do people think Blazblue is an easy game? I can understand saying it's easier than Guilty Gear, even with how little I've seen of that game. I hear people saying SF4 is really hard and just think wtf. What do you guys think? Yeah, I totally get what your saying. I try to apply that philosophy with everything I do. My problem is that I hear this "talent" word thrown around. People saying stuff like "maybe this isn't for you". I'm like screw that, I'll decide what's for me, but I also like being honest with myself. I'll keep at it though.

Cool. I hate complaining about things, but my inner scrub is taking over. I feel like I suck so bad at this game that I almost want to quit. The thing is, I have a genuine desire to play, have fun, get better, and be a part of the community. I just feel so incompetent. Do you guys think maybe some guys just plateau at scrub.

Is this thread just for setting up meetings and stuff, or is it cool for me to talk about some off topic stuff? I kinda feel like venting. It's about the game though.
