  1. Latest intel is an April 4 release for SkullGirls, so we're hosting a tourney the Saturday after launch! Venue: Sore Thumbs Video Games 7402 N 56th St Suite 903 Tampa, FL 33617 Schedule: Registration - noon BlazBlue - 1pm KoF - 1pm SFxT Doubles - 2pm Guilty Gear XX:AC (need at least 8 participants) - 2pm SFxT Singles - 3pm Tekken 6 (need at least 8 participants) - 3pm SkullGirls - 4pm Fees: $5 door fee $5/person per tournament if you pre-register (click "Going" on Facebook) or $10 day of the event Cash prize for 1st place from each bracket (2nd & 3rd as well if we have 16 or more people) Please post on the wall whether you want SkullGirls on PS3 or 360. BB and GG will be played on PS3. SFxT, KoF, and Tekken 6 will be played on 360 (unless everyone votes otherwise). Bring your PS3s, discs, and fightsticks/controllers; we'll provide the TVs, 360s, and can provide 360 controllers. We're in Corporate Square between a salon and Tally Ho Pub. Things will actually start on time (or as close to humanly possible on time as a videogame tournament can be). If you do not think you will get here before registration ends for a game, have someone sign you up. Wireless controllers will be allowed for Teams due to possible lack of USB ports on the consoles. BRING BATTERIES! Brawl Rules= Stock Stock = 3 Handicap = Off Damage Ratio = 1.0 Friendly Fire = On Self-destruct = -1 Items = Off Both tournaments are Double Elimination as well as best 2 out of 3 with the finals best 3 out of 5. This will be Unity Ruleset (aka MetaKnight banned) with the Apex Stagelist Neutral Stages: -Battlefield -Final Destination -Smashville -Yoshi's Island (Brawl) -Lylat Cruise Counterpick Stages: -Delfino Plaza -Castle Siege -Frigate Orpheon -Battleship Halberd -Pokemon Stadium 1 Sore Thumbs is providing 6 to 8 360's with LCD TVs. If you want MK, SC5, and/or BlazBlue run on PS3, bring your system & disc. GDX is able to provide a full setup for XBOX 360 and Wii. We will need more Wii's to run Brawl in a timely manner. Next Level Lan has some CRTs that aren't being used, so bring everything you can. Also if you have any spare PC microphones that would also help. The current streaming equipment only composite inputs, but GDX does have cables for both 360 and Wii to fit.
