  1. I'm the same way Lime. I keep finding flashy combos that are better off as finishers of a round, if not the match. I've got one that uses 100 meter, burst, and Red Axe but if I pull it off it will, obviously, kill anyone. Mind you, this isn't a "100%" kill combo, but just one flashy one that can be pulled off once/if you have the resources. That said, still working on getting more damaging combos that use fewer resources like that as Labrys here.
  2. GGs to the Yu Narukami army that I battled through tonight on XBox Live in Ranked. We were all scrubby, but we were scrubby together at the least, and I am getting some kind of practice in the match up against him with Yukiko. Fun times, fun times.
  3. GGs to everyone I played on Ranked tonight. Don't know if any of the people I played come here, but lots of good matches (in compared to my skill that is) regardless.
  4. So, while poking around Labrys' challenges some, I came across a rather interesting thing to me, which I took into the lab to test with. Apparently SB Guillotine Axe can be canceled on first hit with out using up extra meter into almost any other special or super with enough practice, save for AoA, Sweep, and IK. I could be wrong on that though. It can work with any axe level, but only Red Axe can really allow the most moves generally speaking, and some, while you can cancel into them like this, just won't work because of their delays. Plus, canceling moves at that point seems like you'll end up doing less damage. The only real use I can see in this is to try and catch your foe dropping their guard after the first hit, though you'd have to delay it a bit to get by block stun. Anyways, I'm not really sure what the full use of something like this could be, kind of why I'm posting it out here and seeing if anyone could assist with stuff.
  5. For Green or lower, I'd say just recommended axe building combos should be fine. While I've seen it happen a few times before, unless you whiff or are blocked on a red axe finisher, you're generally taking the round there and then. If that was the last round, then all's good, but if not, then you'll want to build back up in a combo or two, and don't really want to be trying to get the most damage out at these levels. Though I wonder if they've got any real downside to being in Grey or Blue axe levels, other than just being that much farther from Red axe. It kind of feels like they're on there just for visual cues or something.
  6. Just the fact that you're rocket punching in the middle of that combo alone amuses me. I'll have to practice it just cause now.
  7. Labrys is awesome really. She's the reason I decided to buy and give the game a try really. Wasn't too interested in it before I actually saw her. Now to try and do her justice and to break myself of a building reliance on auto-comboing...
  8. I wouldn't really say that it is good. If you're whiffing your attacks, then you're also leaving yourself open to be attacked by your opponent more often than not. Plus, my -limited- experience with Labrys so far has shown that, while its a nice assist, you're still way better off on connecting your attacks than not. I'm still trying to find some combos myself that help with getting her up to Red Axe level to go along side with learning Red Axe combos. So far I don't really have much of either, and when I do end up in Red Axe, I tend to just use it up on Weaver Arts: Beast D or Brutal Impact supers.
  9. I live too... kinda... mom came back from Florida with a sinus infection. Then she left for Hawaii and apparently left part of her sickness with me. Yay for family! *collapses back to being dead to the world*
  10. Sure, though it sounds like it'd be rather messy.
  11. Hugs for all that are here! Hugs, cookies, kitties, and cake and/or pie!
  12. No one said he couldn't play against the CPU. Just not against other humans with their Ragnas and Hakumens and the like.
  13. Its not that bad because we have AC, Thunderbolt. Which does us little good when its wet and cold out.
  14. Bah. I'll just go back into my little corner then and be quiet.
  15. I would, but it costs a lot to fly down there. Maybe next year though. And C0R... stop making me want to pet you like you were some cute animal or little child.
  16. Heh, too bad that can't be true all the time. I wouldn't mind having Hawaiian weather here in Texas.
  17. I know how that can be, and taking a break can be good for things. Hope you come back ready and willing to school us all in the art of Mu-Fu. Or at least ready and willing to be hipster at us. If not both.
  18. Ahahahahaha... no console is safe from my scrubness now! I have secured a copy of BlazBlue CSE for the PS3 now! I will be so bad that I will become good! And now to curb my semi-insanity with food.
  19. Now do all that while in the middle of a thunderstorm while singing the names of all the countries in the world.
  20. I am assuming, then, that you have 0 PSR, as I know I have a PSR of 4.
  21. Hmmm... I can admit you have a point there.
  22. So much truth in that there. The only way to have him get dropped is for ASW to just flat out drop a nerf nuke on him. That, or change up his game play enough to make him less easy to play. Neither will happen, though, as he has Main Character Protection.
  23. Sucks that its making you do that, but at least its not keeping you offline totally. Though I don't think XBL will ever stop playing Ragna, unless you might get to the higher PSR. But that is just my theory.
  24. Actually... Yuki mains Ragna, no matter what else they say. They aren't a true hipster, and ashamed of it.
  25. I should get online myself and play around as it is. Haven't yet today on... most anything really. Well, outside of on the PS3 I just got. No BB though as they didn't have a copy of it in. I swear, the universe is trying to keep me from playing with most of the people here. -_-;
