Man, I have to see these combos in action. I was watching people play tonight in the Arcade, played myself some but only won one round at the most, and saw lots of Tager and Jin. And a Noel that got scary with her corner of death... It didn't seem like there was anything nearing those 7k marks and the like, but still...

Hmmm... a Noel that shoots lasers... tempting, but lasers alone is not why Mu is awesome.

I remember playing Bridget in GG long ago. Better at fighters now than I was then, that much is true. But looks wise they are the same. Right down to the flat chests for different reasons. EDIT: And it seems Yuki there has achieved Hip-secption...

I am Amethyst Reitou. I've been playing BlazBlue since Calamity Trigger. I even have the unopened bottle of Mana Energy Drink that was a "Special Edition" for BlazBlue that I got when I bought the game, which was at Anime Expo the year it was released. Got extras, but that is moving away from the point. I never seriously played BlazBlue mostly because I never had people to play with and just no urge to try to play online. I've only recently, thus, finally decided to take the plunge, and as I always found myself drawn towards Mu to try and learn her, I decided that she would be the one I start with. I fortunately live not too far from an arcade where the likes of Kensou and Kid Viper, among others I think, have been known to show up, so with some luck, I might actually get my ass beat by them and maybe learn a thing or two that way. Also, I finally managed to find my wayward headset for the 360. So... yay!

This is true. If we have any issues... lets just blame a hurricane, regardless of the season.

Sadly, Thunderbolt, business plans have placed me squarely in Seattle for Sakuracon that same weekend. Fact: Every convention that normally goes on in March or April is going on that same damn weekend this year. I would love to be at AM, for multiple reasons, but yeah, making money is more important than having fun. Next year, perhaps. You know, as long as we don't get everyone trying to host a con on Easter Weekend at the same time.

Got it. Sorry for the delay. Another empty search of my 360 headset followed by cleaning up dinner kept me from it for a bit. That, and XBL not telling me I had one.

Well, the good news is that my wireless router has decided that my 360 can go out into the wilds of the internet for now. The bad news is that the object known as my 360 headset has gone MIA since last I stowed it away. I am, though, online and able to accept invites right now.

I've played 4 Ranked matches online so far. I saw some major lag in the second match, but that could have been due to any number of things, and it only really lasted at the start before the battle even begun. Beyond that, nothing that has been game breaking. @Nemesis I've... got a mic for my 360 somewhere here now. Might be in a box with all my other game accessories and cables. Though if any old USB headset could work, I've got that as well.

Yeah! Seriously. I mean, I'm on XBL and more than willing to learn and play. Just gotta give me the chance!

Its always cool to be Mu at Mu, just cooler than not. Remember, only Mu can prevent uncoolness.

What? Stop playing BB? Can anyone do that? For that matter, can we even stop playing Mu? I didn't really see an exit around here when I came in. But yes, like Lord Pwnge, I am happy to welcome yet another into our fold, and we can stumble through learning Mu. But not together, sadly, for I have a 360 and a wireless that hates it. *kicks the wireless router*

And yet he is still one of my most hated foes, with my brain all but defaulting to "stay the f' away!" I really need to work on that matchup. Any advice, aside from don't let him grab you?

Reminds me a bit of how one would input 2369a to do an air Arrows while barely off the ground. Obviously not fully the same, but the speed of the inputs would get a similar effect. I'll have to practice that when I can here.

Ah Mu... so many ways to play her. Well, maybe not, but there is enough variety to make her fun.

Bleh... at least Kurushii's got his stream going tonight. It shall sate my desire for BB right now. Stupid wireless router keeping my 360 offline... coupled with how today went, I can totally get into Mu's mindset of destroying the world.

Given how many videos H.H seems to have for watching, even if they didn't make them themselves... I might have to order the Texas sized bucket of popcorn when I sit down to watch them. Maybe spend a weekend or two as well. It'll be worth it though I bet.

Oooo. Sounds like fun there. Have to dig up a link to that when the time comes and watch it. Hopefully there will be some decent Mus playing to learn from. Both on your stream and in the Finals. Though my gut says to not expect it in the Finals. That aside... yeah, I've got nothing. I'll just go back to beating up on Hazama in training mode while I learn combos now.
