Post by DaRabidDuckie on dealing with Hornet Bomber- Painwheel can charge a normal on reaction and knock her out of it, everyone else can block the first hit and duck the other two (just like Mike Z said!), Parasoul can throw out an lp tear, use pillar, or even neutral j.HP it. I think Forty can dp it, Peacock can st.HP, and Valentine can Dead Cross it. I didn't play enough Cerebellas (surprisingly), Doubles (I was one of three -- she was the least used character, sadly), or Filias, to see what they can do. I assume Double can Luger Replica, CB can headbutt (possibly air grab?), and Filia may be able to drill or DP it. looking forward to having a record function whenever that patch comes out.

If two people wanna drop by that'd be extra cool so we can have a rotation while I work. Once again PM me for a ride tomorrow. Sadly not at the moment. I think training mode options and move lists are on the top priority for the first patch though. Right now blue sparks means they can tech, weird noises and red sparks means IPS has kicked in and they can burst. Also hey! Looks like Bar Fights might have an SG side tournament! Psyched!

Each character has so many tools I kinda wish I had more time right now to explore the cast. Peacock will always be a MUST HAVE for me, and for now I like Double or Filia as Team mates. Double solo is great too.

D-Town beatdown on Sunday is indeed going to have Skullgirls on 360. Sign Ups start at 12:00 and Marvel sign ups end at 1:15 and usually start at 1:30. Don't know when SG starts yet. Double is AMAZING! My favorite shenanigans from those matches all had to do with Catellites. Val grab during catellite pressure. Bionic Car while catellites were active crossing people up and allowing you to continue the combo after! So many possibilities to explore.

They said there would be casual stations. I wonder what the possibility of running a side tourney is. This Sunday there is gonna be a Skullgirls tourney in Addison with a $100 pot bonus.

Every time I've gone they've had KoF. It is usually the smaller turnout of all the games, but I've participated in every one. They run UMVC3, AE2012, SCV, SFXT, KoFXIII, and now SG as well.
