This past weekend was magical, Ohio crew. I haven't had that much fun and/or played that much gear in such a freaking long time. GGs to everyone we've played against. I don't post much or check up on Dustloop these days, but I love you guys all that much We'll try to make it to OH in the very near future (Ohayocon-bound [more for shenanigans than playing Gear, but I'm still down for it anytime at the con]). I'll push as much of the TN guys to make a group trip to Cincinnati sometime after the holidays are over. Can't wait for more games in the near future. Much love, Ohio!

HAHA I remember him! We had a fucking blast, man. I can definitely see the resemblance now XD Also, here's my bi monthly post. I watch a SHIT LOAD of Gear matches, and here's why: Yes I do copy and paste my play from JP vids and in a way I shouldn't do that, but that's not what I'm here to debate about. Definitely watch videos b/c it'll give you an insight as to what each character is potential of. I use, and still do, watch a shit load of videos as a way to make up for my lack of match up experience. Turns out it was the best thing I've ever done for myself w/ having nothing but a 3 - 5 Gear players here in TN. I'm not saying just use videos as your tool to train. Still use training mode though. If you see a situation where your character just flat out loses, recreate that in training mode and figure ways out of it. Learn Eddie and his very bear basic block strings. Set that up on dummy replay and figure it out, like when you can move, dead angle, parry if you play Jam, IB and 1F jump outta there, etc...
