So it looks like I'm getting out of work early on Saturday can actually make it this time provided someone can pick me up between 5 and 5:30. Would anyone be cool with that? Cheese?

So I'm just letting you guys know I'm not dead, I've been working my ass of trying to make myself more stable and it seems to be working. I'm getting promoted at work and my money situation will be MUCH less tight soon. Hoping to see you guys more soon!

It's true, and I expect the game to use the same asynchronous (30fps gameplay with 60fps inputs) framerates. And let's also not forget that adding cel-shading requires more system resources.

I have so few brain cells left after reading this post that it's ridiculous. Gonna go die now.

GGXX is 30fps visually, but polls for inputs at 60fps. It's never been THAT smooth, it just uses lots of tricks to mask it. The animations being the way they are in Xrd seems like it's simply to stay true to the series (and save resources at that, the current generation is being pushed harder than you think). There've actually been speed comparisons, and it's about the same. And the reason I'm hoping for a reboot is because, let's be real, GG's story as it is now is kind of a clusterfuck. Unless arcsys wants to pull a Tekken and run with it. I'm cool with either, I'm just saying, it's a fighting game and story's not THAT important. BB plays nothing like GG and you all know it.

I'm inclined to believe and hoping that Xrd is a reboot, TBH. Whoa are you actually playing now?
