  1. still no pc :C guess i was expecting too much. Its a shame, I only have my ps3 with me 2-3 months a year #r is starting to get stale
  2. thanks. I use Bridget and Jam for the most part. I didnt know that dust was upper body, i was crouching when i was blocking so thats why. As for countering Kys greed sever, im still not sure what you mean =\ i understand that the bottom portion of the character can be hit but dont all air attacks start by hitting upper body? His greed sever animation shows as if it hits high then low as it arcs around but I usually 6p right as he begins the animation (when the first hit should be upper body) and I still get hit.
  3. I've been looking for a fight stick for ages now. I had my mind set on a hori pro v3 sa until i read this thread about them being poorly built. I plan on modding later on but now i'm just looking for a good, large one. I've looked through a bunch and most are either hex or square gates, I have never used an arcade stick before so I don't know which is better. I found this yesterday and am thinking of getting it but if i could find a cheaper one it would be great Ive been looking for one with 8 face buttons rather than six because i usually assign r2 to s+k+p for quick roman cancels. My budget is ~$150 (the one i linked is $155) but if i could get a good quality one for ~$120 or even $100 it would be great. Any help is appreciated.
  4. I just got back to playing Guilty Gear after years of having not touched a fighting game and I found something a bit strange with certain characters when it comes to counter measures for certain attacks. I remember 6p working vs air attacks and I read here [http://dustloop.com/guides/ggac/index.html] that it gave upper body invincibility. I've found that whilst this works for most characters, there are some where I still end up getting hit without a counter. Doing it vs Ky's Greed Sever (214k) seems to do nothing as I still get hit by it. Are there certain moves which cancel out these things? I also found that sometimes I try and block dust(d) moves I still get hit (mostly just vs Venom). I just wanted clarification on what the moves are which give temp upper or lower invincibility vs other attacks. Also, i'm looking for people to play with on PC #Reload and BBCT
