  3. I'm the latest! Shoutouts to everyone that made it out, this was my first major tournament so having that many people come out was really great. It was a very nice experience and i hope i can continue to attend these events. I'm glad i finally got to meet some of you guys Shoutouts to Bibi for a godlike stream setup! Shoutouts to shtkn for trading top secret jin strats with me in training mode Shoutouts to LK for being godlike and playing casuals with me Shoutouts to everyone who helped organize the event, it ran so smoothly, Pedro, DerQ,WakeupDP and whoever else ran brackets, Kaeru and Isabelle for being our bouncers lol Shoutouts to FORCE BREAK PUFFBALLS so good Shoutouts to FOONZO!   8. Bang's Command grab is very good for resets, and in certain setups. It's more experiment in matches and see what kind of opponent you're facing. It's also a good idea to train your opponent to block a certain blockstring or setup then hit them with a command grab reset instead. One of my my favourites would be in the corner after a long combo get a knockdown with jC and hit them with poison nail if they neutral tech its guaranteed a command grab reset that you can take raw damage or rapid cancel for seals or max damage (5c > 2c > 623b > aircombo into more knockdown and more oki). Also off knockdown TK D Nails(2369D) into dash command grab is a popular one most people keep blocking when put into this "blockstring" so its a free command grab, but they ARE able to just jump out if they see it coming. So just hit training mode and experiment with it As for drives, its a risk reward kind of thing, you can delay the teleport to avoid autoturn hits, but if you delay it to long depending on which drive they may get through it with lows or the guardpoint running out. You can try to make it safer by super crashing or just rapid if it doesn't work out.(This might get you more pressure and a combo if you get a hit)

  13. Hey man, It was a great experience and would love to come back again for the next one whenever that may be. Was great to get to play Arakune too since i don't think we have any in mtl? To my knowledge anyway.Hopefully will see ya foonzo too sometime.
  14. Always down for more tournaments! I'll be at foonzo tommorrow too to see rare footage of bibi. I doubt we'd need the venue open at noon, like bibi said not that many people

Completely disagree that gold burst combo starters shouldnt be able to kill. Its part of the gameplay mechanics and why shouldnt you be able to kill off a gold burst.. If you gold burst then that means you lose a green burst for a potentially dangerous situation later.(if you gold burst before last round) Also best case scenario: your opponent gold bursts and you block it, They lose a burst icon and you have lost nothing except maybe having to block since the burster has advantage after Its strat!
