I wouldnt go for ikutachi outside of combos besides using it to escape the corner; unless i know my opponent is going to block it. I've seen Jin's 5c anti-air beat it out and it doesnt look that hard to dp on reaction.

Is it possible for my/our team to play? we can play a team at 7:30 est or later on wednesday if that's ok. I'm still waiting on spring raid to see if its even 100% possible though atm

If done correctly they will have to block the spike on wake-up If your opponent moves around on their wake-up they will run into the spike. free combo you might have to play around with your movement to get it to work consistently Labrys corner oki gimmick If you land a charge 5b from 22a/22b etc in the corner you do 22a or 22b depending on the distance. you then either go for a safe jump 2a or grab or 214a or J.214b. even add IAD back turn safe jump 2a or etc will make it better add omc mix-ups to it. The spike should stop them from pressing buttons on wake-up at some point If they do mash dp's or whatever, bait whatever opponents moves accordingly another gimmick any 5aaa<A+B<22a or any 5aaa<A+B<D arrows you still have to bait whatever move they do they only have 4 options mash dp/super, jump or evade step or block guess right and trap them into the spike or corner do again until you feel ready to do higher damage from yellow or red axe If they block on wake-up then go for whatever mix-up If you cant open your opponent up then just go for damage You get a chance to keep your opponent in the corner and build pressure and axe meter on them. sadly you lose out on 1k+ guaranteed dmg and axe meter on higher yellow and red axe levels from the spike if they get trapped in it. worth doing if your most optimal combo with meter wont kill atm imo maybe I'll add more stuff later and edit anything that wrong. Protein bar and energy drink got me up until 6am est why I dont even have a reason to be up right now sadly

*in the corner for oki *if you believe your opponent is going to IAD into it from full to mid screen. *if you are trying to set extra steins.( have a stein bit ready to cover you when you do this) All i can think of atm

I agree plus we could should try to include everyone. If new players or less confident players need help they can always ask a veteran after they play help to build up their confidence/skill level. That's why I say we should stream it if possible. I watched my own footage of me getting blown up on the persona ranbats or BB matches to help improve myself. It should work for everyone else too.

I guess skype would work with more ppl then. I dont think we should run too many netplay events for extend at this point but we should always get someone to stream an online event for cp if its possible. It makes it more interesting to be apart of it that way. I would like an xbox version of whatever yall do lol

You could just commentate on a saved replay or something to prevent lag. I just mention commentating on a streamed ranbat match to make it more beneficial for everyone. Sadly its gonna lag regardless during a streamed event to some degree on Netplay

I think Ranbats are a great idea. They can help keep the game alive on netplay and even draw out new players. One idea I would like to do is have someone commentate about the match when its streamed. The person commentating can talk about the match-up and give suggestions so ppl are not only just playing in the ranbat but also learning from it to improve their gameplay. Banana Ken started something similar for Persona 4 Arena with his FT10 thing where he plays and critques the player that he blows up. New players and even veterans could post some matches maybe once or twice a month with them playing ppl to improve their skill by having ppl critque matches more often. It could help them place higher in a offline tourney or whatever. I had something interesting in mind but I need to seriously upgrade my recording software to do effectively
