GGs to everyone I played at Back to Basics today. I don't think I'll stick with Kanji but I still have to experiment some more, kinda salty I lost to Flocker :/. Who ended up taking persona? I had to leave before I could see the results.

Yeah I couldn't make it tonight but I'll be at the tourney tomorrow. Still haven't picked a character lol but we'll see how it goes.

What is the estimated date for the release of the 360 netcode patch?

Does Winter 2012 mean a release here in US this year or is that just the arcade release? I guess I should sell my copy of Extend now while I can still get some money back for it lol.

Man I've been away from online forums too long, I forgot what it feels like. Anyway all I want to say is give the game a chance before you start bashing it, don't scare new players off from trying it by spreading word that it's bad or "fraudulent" .

If you're losing to people who "suck" at the game maybe you should take a step back and look at your own play. At the end of the day a win is a win. I don't see how using loops makes someone fraudulent either: learning loops is the same thing as learning combos, sure maybe it's a little simpler but at the end of the day it's kinda the same thing.... As for mashing DP come on man, the game isn't even out in NA and you're saying it's going to be "fraudulent in America". You know what other game has really strong reversals? SF4, and there is nothing fraudulent about the people winning tournaments in that game. People have been mashing DP with Ken and Ryu since the day that game was released and at high levels it doesn't matter at all.

I was planning on trying her out but honestly I won't really know who I want to stick with until a week or two after release, I was also looking at Akihiko/Liz/Teddie/Kanji/rest of the cast. Don't really care about having doubles for a character since that's inevitable anyway, just don't steal other peoples colors .

Ok maybe 1-2 combos = death was an exaggeration lol, what I meant was that FC combos will hurt a lot once people know what they are doing. I've seen some 100% or near 100% combos already, sure they require burst and 100 meter but the potential is there. I don't think mashing DP will be a real problem once people learn to play solid. Some people will mash, they'll get blown up. It was pretty funny when you ran up 5A'd and got DP'd though you have to admit :P

Whiffing DPs doesn't matter right now as much because nobody knows optimal punishes. Once they do people will be more hesitant to throw out DPs since the damage potential in this game is huge (1-2 combos = death). As for the game lacking depth, I think it's a little too early to tell even though it may seem that way right now.

Shoutouts to everyone that was playing P4U at ZP today, I had fun trying the game out. Haven't seen someone as salty about something as DC was about autocombo in a while though lol. I'll try to show up on Saturdays once the game releases but it really depends on what my schedule is like for the fall semester :/

DC is the copy you guys have 360 or PS3? When will you be at ZP on sat? I'll try to show up even though i don't even know what character I want to play yet :P
