I've never had a good chance to play MB so maybe people could teach me some. I kind of just flail around with characters because knowing not how the game works.

Too bad you can't escape Boy's State. Because Cookeville's crew plays. Like maybe a mile down the road from where you will be.

I think I might be able to do BADC in April. Who else thinks they would be able to go too?

Catherine, KoF, and Project M doubles would be a fun change of pace. It makes me wish I had my own copy of KoF so I could practice and learn though. We could also play Chaos Co-gets shot- or Arca-gets shot-. (Completely joking. Though I am up for Chaos Code anytime anyone wants to play.)

I am with Minionman. We really dropped the ball, with Cookeville not focusing on the Fighting Game scene in a while. Money here has also been a little tight, so BADC was never in the cards for me anyway. But whenever monthly's start up again. I would be fully willing to come and play. Need to play some friendly faces to fully get my FG juju back up to speed.

I am definitely on board with voting here instead. It kind of helps me decide if I have the money to justify going. As for Majors like powerup and stuff. I wouldn't be able to do both, but if both were an option I would be willing to go to one or the other.

Fuujin-wise, if I see I messed up and time the fuujin poorly enough that they blocked it I usually go into the P-followup or K if I see it will crossup. Thank you everyone who answered, especially Dream Maker for linking that post. It was practically what I was looking for. I only started playing Anji about a month ago, and am still trying to work out kinks is when and what to do. He is such a fun character to play though that it doesn't bother me.

I looked through the Anji questions and answers topic and I never really found useful blockstring info. The things I did find mentioned going into butterfly and never going into fuujin for blockstrings. The current one I have been using is 5K>5S>5H>Shiitsu. (People usually respect it for 2-3 reps, and then I just AG and got free meter or a combo) But this doesn't really seem to be the optimal thing to be doing. What are some better options for blockstrings as Anji?

I am also on the list of needing to know things, but I am just going to keep playing people. Surely stuff will start popping up and becoming natural.

@Dark, You can add Eireprince to that list too. I only ever play Gear, but it would be fun to be playing with some people. @Suguri, I would definitely enter into a Suguri tournament. The game seems really cool, even if I really don't grasp everything. MTN skype chat, I am pretty sure I would be up for that too.

The MTN crowd is super nice, albeit a little douchey toward each other. They have been fairly accepting of me, and I am rather new. I wouldn't place too much worry on it.

GG for like a week, so I shouldn't completely embarrass myself. Since I already own the game, I am quite curious which characters are playable in the demo.

Some of those things have multiple right answers and it's annoying as crap. And Papstr while you are in Cookeville you are free to hang with us whenever you want. Otherwise I had tons of fun playing GG even if Klein and that other guy completely rocked me. I seriously can't wait til next time.
