FK Digital has asked me to come up with a suitable name for their NESiCA ranking system for Chaos Code - New Sign of Catastrophe. They are looking for something related to the theme of the game, preferably 3 words (like PSR, for example). I thought I'd turn this into a community project, for it's better to have multiple ideas, and sharing things is always fun. (plus I'm terrible at naming) You can be as creative as you like. Even the troll names are necessary, for leaving a mark on the development of a game should be ideal for almost anyone. If you don't own the game yet (or even if you do) I'll throw in a free purchase of Chaos Code towards the person with the best name. I want to end this as soon as April 5th, for it's production is already in motion with the location tests(s). I said 5 names on Twitter, but depending on the circumstances, I'll try to slide in at least 10 max. I don't want to overwhelm them with too many decisions. So far, I have 2 names, one of them I came up with myself, and the other courtesy of Kurushii. CSR = Chaotics Seeker Rank. With this name I was thinking heavily about the theme, as I feel it suits every character's goal, and it gives a strong sense of enrichment to the player. CPR = Chaos Point Rank. Kurushii came up with this one. It's simple enough to suit FKD's tastes (They were thinking something with "Chaos" and "Point" until I stopped them) and inside jokes with the community makes it memorable enough to be a solid part of history. (UNiB = RIP) All ideas are welcome, and I appreciate the help.

Chaos Code is coming to Nesica with balance and other changes to content. I'm hype. http://www.fkdigital.net/chaoscodenesica/

The rest is unlocked in Survival. I'm not too sure, but I think you get something for every 5 wins. I currently have everything except the Survival trophy...which I will admit is kinda tedious to obtain.

The patch is just to change trophy descriptions. Nothing serious in the grand scheme of gameplay. I have been keeping in touch with FKD for quite some time about many things. For starters I suggested revealing all character's individual health and stun rankings, and other things related to overall damage. I was told that a Chaos Code hardcover guide is in the works which answers all questions pertaining to that subject and more, and will see a release shortly after the International versions of the game. My main question was about certain features that aren't in the game that are in older games (visible damage and input option in training mode, dummy record & playback, etc.) I was told that shortly in the future there will be an actual damage and input option in training mode, and getting the proper training mode mechanics and fixing the game's bugs is top priority alongside proper netcode. Their response towards lack of other features including netcode was understandable; they had to meet the only deadline that they created for themselves (Winter 2012) and trying to implement proper netcode to please everyone is no easy task. FKD asks for patience as their secrecy gives them the chance to have time to actually go through various QA tests and change things before they release it to the public.

Your praise puts a grin on my face. I'm very glad you enjoyed yourself.

Backlash noun \ˈbak-ˌlash\: A strong adverse reaction (as to a recent political or social development) this is what I meant, not... Backlash noun \ˈbak-ˌlash\: A sudden violent backward movement or reaction Honestly...don't you think I would have found a more severe choice of words to threaten you with? But that's fine. You feel how you feel and I can't change that. Onto more pressing matters. Kudlak and Celia II have boss versions that you can select by pressing L1 after you beat the game for the first time. Those are the ones who should be banned. Why? They have plenty of unblockable attacks. One of them is also an instant kill. Their Chaos Gauge max is 5 instead of 3, and they don't have to spend for what would be EX moves in their playable versions. Kudlak Sin is balanced. I haven't ranked him, but that's only because he has been released to the public recently. Also...the fact that the Japanese still play the arcade version despite having a brand new character on console just means that I can't properly rank him anytime soon. I ask that you don't ban Sin. In fact...I strongly encourage people to play him so I can gather more data.

Dude, I never threatened you. In fact I didn't even try. I was just saying that you shouldn't quit over something so superficial, and I would respectfully agree with your decision to stop playing if you decide on it. If my choice of words really bothered you, then I apologize. Also, I never once stated that you were obligated to run a tournament for this game. In fact, I applaud you for even going out of your way to. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. If I may, the only thing that amazes me is how you were able to pull something as so grand as a threat out of such a few sentences.

Seems like this is America's number one complaint about this game, and it is a valid one. If it's enough to make you quit, then I'm honestly at a loss of words. I have played over 600 matches so far with various amounts of NY players. Some have complained, but stuck with it after figuring it out, which didn't take long. I say practice/play casuals at least until you run your first tournament. If you haven't been able to get used to the input by then, you are free to quit without any backlash.

Okay guys, I'm going to say this...all help is appreciated with fixing the wiki. If you have a combo or some other information that you think needs to be added, feel free to. For example, most of the color references aren't official or anything, so if you think any color has a strong resemblance to something else, add it to the wiki as well. Do not be afraid to contribute.

In most cases, yes, unless he selects his 2nd extra special move, which has TONS of super armor. MG can delay the release of the fist by holding the button, and net great counter hits from it, but selecting that will greatly gimp MG's combo potential, so the only true anti-airs he'll have is either 2C or his 236 + K, which isn't really reliable. Air-to-air is terrible for MG if he doesn't have his 2nd extra ultimate chaos, for at that point, the only thing he can poke you with is his j.D or his air projectile. When players select his 2nd EXUC, they are most likely trying to bring balance to the matchup. Your objective with Kagari should be to always keep MG grounded and somewhat immobile. Kagari vs Vein is somewhat tricky, slightly in Vein's favor due to his superior anti-air game. The ground is your friend in this matchup. Stay on him, and don't be too predictable with your jump-ins. Vein's DP is hella good, and his 6A puts fear into the hearts of people, even his f.C can anti-air if you're poor with your jumps. If you're pressuring him in the corner, he will try to get out with either C DP, EX DP, or EX teleport. Keep yourself aware of this when applying corner oki.

With her tools, Kagari has great control over the air. MG is a character that has below-average air-to-air control despite having a decent j.D and Deno Raida Kyaku, and the few anti-airs he has are at best unreliable. His bad matchups are surrounded by characters who can either jump in on him safely all day, or have superior air-to-air spacing. Hermes is a very good character if you play her strategy, but her two main flaws are lack of damaging combos to the point where she has to eventually get in for real damage, and her lack of legit corner carry despite having massive potential in corner combos/oki. Cait & Sith were capable of so much in previous versions...but their nerfs in v.1.02 were so severe that they were literally pushed from S to B. Vein's main goal at midscreen is a knockdown to get his fireball-teleport vortex started. Some characters like Cthylla have a very hard time getting out of this, for she only has roll as her only true escape option, which can be easily baited, otherwise she has to block and/or TG accordingly. Vein's bad matchups are involved with characters that can safely get out of his mixup and shutdown his initial gameplan completely...Rui is one of them. She can simply dodge on wakeup without having to worry about any execution error of any kind, which leaves Vein at a disadvantage...for the only thing he can do at that point unless he gets the confirm is zone or anti-air.

It is when you're nerfed to hell and back.
