I've never seen that happen. As far as I know, only tnhe damage the move deals plus move modifiers and CH matter. -
1. I think you could technically SB 5P if you did it fast enough? But like that's not happening. Otherwise, is it possible to backdash and punish j.D? Most chars can either backdash or run past, but I guess I-no's dash rules out the latter. 2. HPB is weird in that it will lose to most everything already out and sometimes end up beating shit. The info's definitely weird somewhere and I've given up on trying to understand it. Mostly I just assume HPB will lose until proven otherwise.

It means lightning launches them back off the ground so you can air combo if you FRC.

REAL MEN FLICK RENSENS. On a (only slightly) more serious note, you can backdash Axl's 6H and bomber among other things, if he decides he DOES want in. He's gonna control the space you're in though, so a lot of blockin' is involved. When he's at half screen, you kinda just gotta slowly press to the corner, maybe take a risk once in a while. Axl's got no defensive game, so if you knock him down, it's your ball game. If he commits to jumping, you get a bit of forward movement if you respected it. If he commits to antiair (5P, etc) you can slidehead it. If he goes for a pressure reset instead of just standing there in his zone of LOLCHAINS, you can mash him. It's fun for everyone! (Also IK his chains (no))

Tectal-sama how do I netplay? I can't 2B everything on reaction, spacing is weird, and everything becomes unblockable. I also drop combos but that's just online timing. I don't ever actually play online (or this game) but I jumped in a friends lobby for laughs and all this happened. My friend said to do such legendary tech as yolo jB and whiff 2B into 5C how do I survive in this twisted hell

You have the right idea, so work on that. For hammerfall, just work on reaction upback or hitting another button. You have the time to. For HF FRCs, you have to kind of just hold that. You could DP after a hammerfall FRC for a retardedly risky ino gambit, but that's that. You can mash hammerfall break unless it's a point blank instant one, in which case you hold that too. If you're getting hammerfalled on a SE that you didn't FRC, you were...wrong, and it sucks. You should probably be careful where you stun edge and FRC or just bait the hammerfall. Potemkin's got decent answers to SE if it becomes predictable. On offense, you need to be patient. That means learning the magic rainbow of sadness that ehuangsan mentioned and living by it. Do NOT go for the throw or get close to him unless you are confident and have garnered the utmost respect from your opponent. Sol, Baiken, Pot off the top of my head have amazing defensive options so you gotta stick to safe patterns. SE FRCs, TK SE FRCs, S/H pressure, occasional dash jab/kick mash to catch hammerfall/backdash. You can keep pot in the corner as long as you keep your distance forever, so no rush at all. For OKI, star setups into safe jumps or CSE into more pressure work fine. It can be your turn forever, as long as you accept your turn not being you going apeshitham since his defense disallows that. If you get meaty slideheaded, learn to reversal backdash it. DP is risky since it'll whiff a differently timed slidehead. Learn to block Potemkin 6K, mix up your FDs and IBs, and general GG defensive advice. Potemkin's offense is very scary on wakeup. He has his low, his high, his ticks, his safe jumps, and you can DP if you wish, or just hold his mixup. Either way, if you're wrong, you're going to get chunked. Pot's strength as a character shines in his close range game, both offense and defense, and though you can avoid his defensive infight, when he's on offense, he's going to force himself on you and you better be ready. In neutral, IAD over slideheads (watch for 6K bait *USA USA USA*) and the same applies to hammerfalls (FRC, upback, mash harder). You can stun dipper under flicks (ballsy) and just in general use your good pokes and your two angles (air and ground) to play your ticky tack game. The most important thing is to be patient and have steady fingers! If you make an execution blunder or such, Pot is on the list of 'characters that will fuck you up for it' sitting near the top.

As with most Lab's matchups, you want this match to be played at neutral. The optimal range is just close enough that you can stuff Orgia support missiles (214C/D?) before they come out. Running at Aigis is incredibly risky, but her approach here is limited too. No need to go in, just sit on your axe. Once you're at optimal range, there's not too much Aigis can do. Aerial approaches lose to 2B, megido is slow and punishable via IB throw. Nothing else. On the ground, Aigis's ground options are nothing spectacular other than 2B, which aside from being faster and bigger than Lab 5C, shares its weaknesses, mostly that you can roll it and murder Aigis for it. If you see 2B, rolling it will get you a punish of your choice if you react quickly enough. Try not to yomi it unless it's on autopilot because the whore hits as hard as you do and actually can keep momentum going. If Aigis randomly uses bullets, you have to respect those unless you can EX chain through--this is fairly risky, but it's on you. If you find yourself at fullscreen, either because pushed out by bullets or she's out of Orgia trying to get it back, you can throw down a spike and block bullets for it, giving you a way slightly in. On offense, don't get overzealous. A DP from Aigis that switches her into Orgia will probably make her dead. Use anti-mash setups and see if you can bait anything- if the Aigis player respects those (any player really) it's hard to hit them if they know the matchup, which is why hitting her in neutral is so important. Surf is right on defense. Knocked down by Aigis? You're probably just dead. You can IB sweep and mash 5A on the j.B, or you can just block the entire goddamn string. Anything she does will lead to 4.5k+ if she's got 25 meter so just be ready to have a terrible day.
