LoL.....I use the grey color because of P.C too,yeah I guess I'm a fanboy. But now I can't play other color,when I choose other I feel like I'm playing worse,I don't know. ShinBlade,I get nervous in tourneys too,I guess thats normal,I miss a lot more frc and combos in tourneys than casuals,that sucks... You poked that baiken very well Spirit Juice, I guess my poke skills is almost zero, I'm too addicted to 2D so I forgot to use other things at mid range, it would help me a lot if I had good poke skills too...

Besides the fact that is in jap ver he increased the guard gauge significantly with J.HS SW. Even the jap ver was the standard one I doubt that would happen in a real match.

So you could record this 100% combos and show to people since no one know them I guess, I bet top jap players who are droping his chars to pick Eddie, Testa or Slayer would drop them to play Sol.....

Well, so I guess doomscyther is wrong since sol don't have that much of variable setups to get his sw combos, most of the time you'll hit his combos from wild throw wich is not that easy to get, or some counter hits or using tension for BR RC wich is not easy way either. Yeah I know he has grand viper combos but it's not that easy to get since you have to hit the opponent really close with something like 5K or 2K 2HS GV, late air dash S HS 2HS GV, he has some ways to get a big combo yeah, but he don't get it so easy like let's say Testament, Slayer, Jam, May and some others....

Idk if this matchup chart has any value right now since it's from beggining of AC, but it was based on some jap bbs matchup chart: http://kayin.pyoko.org/GuiltyGear/actiers.html But well, here Sol vs Anji is 5-5 and Sol vs HOS is 4.5-5.5 HOS favor, but whatever. The thing is you're saying that you think Sol players aren't really good based on what you think would happen if they played some other player like Domii or whatever, that's just speculate, I doubt anyone would say that KZO could beat Ogawa but he did, so this 'what if' thing don't mean anything. I agree that Sol has a high risk gameplay and I think that's why he can't win a lot, because playing big risks can't go well every time, I guess that's why experienced players like P.C and 012 plays very carefully, cause taking risks everytime is kinda of a lucky game and high level players don't play like that in any game, there's some exceptions like Daigo but like I said he's an exception. So imo Sol can't win a lot in high level because he don't do very well playing too careful neither taking too much risks, obvious not saying that Sol can't win, if the Sol player is superior than another char player he'll win, but if both players are at the same level his gameplay don't help much.

So Sol loses because his top players aren't really good...that's kinda LoL. So Isa is ordinary with Sol then he changes to Eddie and suddenly becames good and won the first game chariot G3 ranbat, maybe it was lucky Idk, but it's something to think, he plays Sol since #R and has a vast knowledge of his character but he has to pick Eddie in order to win, even though he plays Eddie just for a few months I guess. Isa, P.C and 012 loses a lot in AC, but in #R and Slash they always had at least decent results, so they were good but not anymore?

yeah, gf frc is good and the only almost safe way for sol to get in, though you don't have infinite tension

I think another problem with sol besides being just average in almost everything is that he's good only at close range, so he has to take more risks to get in than most of the cast, I guess thats why he loses a lot, it's different from Ky wich is average too but is at least decent at any range so he don't need to take too much risks trying to get in, but he does less damage than sol. my god, my english sux

Oh, I believe that A.B.A is bad for Slayer too, May idk but I can't say since I don' play Slaya, but what I thought was weird is the guy puting May and A.B.A as bad for Slayer and not for Sol since they are bad for him too. The problems I have against Slayer is that I can't do much except run away, since Sol's pokes are easily dandy step'd or 2HS'd, can't use K as AA cause of his JHS and you can't jump either, only thing I can do safely is fishy for a crap knockdown with early JP into whatever then GF FRC mixup if the dude is not good at reversal backdash jump away, the match could be even but I fell like Sol has to do the hard work in this match, or maybe idk how to play against Slayer yet. Oh,and why Buri is not mentioned too, it's so hard to find a match that a good Sol beat a good Buri...

I have a hard time against Slayer too, but some people say it's even, I can't see how this's true either

it's probably in Faust's favor in AC but I guess it's 5.5/4.5 for Faust at worst, not so bad

it's weird how the guy puts A.B.A and May as Slayer bad matchs and didn't put them as Sol's bad matchs since A.B.A and May are probably worse for Sol than it's for Slayer. but well,like POscrub said it's just some guy's opinion,so iguess it's ok. and thanks for the translates POscrub.

what's worse is someone posting just to say that he could've search. why not just answer huh....guess it's too hard. Cain[e]: well,from what I saw the majority of time she's ranked A and sometimes S, so you can say that she's top or at least a good high tier.
