Well, maybe we can have some fun with it when BBCP comes out. I think it'll be pretty enjoyable and It can't really hurt to try. We had like 4 setups and magic all going on at the same time Friday, so it's not like you wont be able to find anything else to do. edit: Today was great, which is something I actually never get the chance to say. I won the PSN tournament and drafted a thoughtseize. My friend got a stormbreath dragon 0_0 So many high fives. Like way too many high fives... edit 2: if anyone wants to buy a thoughtseize for 20 bucks, then let me know. I'm sure someone's gonna grab a set at some point down the road. I want to fund my next poverty deck.

GGs. Tournament was really fun. I feel bad about grand finals. Nothing feels worse for me than winning while doing everything wrong. That matchup did all the work for me. Omnix was the god. My heart stopped during the match with Colpevole. I hope something like this gets set up again.

woah, that sounds pretty great. make sure you get Avermedia portables. Those things are ridiculously easy to set up. edit: one just get one

I have good streaming equipment. All I'd need is a decent laptop.

ShardZ was able to attend one of the loketests and gathered an awesome amount of information. I updated the main post with it. I encourage everyone to go take a look. Reading it gave me some peace of mind for the character.

Junpei was exactly 10,000 in the first Loketest. I doubt they'd change that.

Magic was a lot of fun last night. Commander is interesting but I have like no clue what's going on. Eric, I will never forget our two hour control match. By far the most fun I've had in a while.

All the time I've played Mitsuru, I've never actually considered her to be much of a rushdown character, at least not in a sense where she tries to open people up. I guess Spacing would be what she does best. Try to keep your opponents at a distance where you can safely harass them with your normals, without fear of getting hit yourself. She punishes players for mashing, jumping, standing up, anything really. This is where her damage really comes from. Once the other player begins to respect you, try to think of your pressure as a game. How long can I keep them blocking for? Can I lock them down enough to use Marin Karin? How much meter can I steal? The farther you can take it, the more options you'll earn. 50 meter grants you access to j.B > OMC > j.B, allowing some real mixup. Getting to the corner transforms your throw into something worth teching. Getting a real corner combo gives you mix up options and better pressure with 50/50 mirror oki, safe jump setups, bufudyne gimmicks, etc. If you're interested in learning Mitsuru, I'm happy to help. It looks like you're on 360 so unfortunately we wouldn't be able to meet up online. Send me a PM sometime and we can figure it out, if you want.

If that's the case, then we may be seeing some practical differences between Mitsuru and Shadow Mitsuru, given that they don't use the same autocombo. edit: First Post updated with second loketest information. I'll try to keep it up to date this weekend.

This caught my eye. I'm excited for new combos. "5C > Dash cancel forward on air hit = combo possible" What's "Dial A", A Coup?

Fingers crossed that sweep > 5D oki doesn't make it into the final release. oki is fun, super fun, but it's like playing a single player game and is frustrating as all hell for the other player. With all the new tools Yu seems to be getting, I'm sure he'd be just fine without it. He already had a tool for everything, he's just getting even more. Hopefully the command grab gets some good use too.

Even with everything that came with the last Loke-Test, I'm still determined to do my very best with Mitsuru, but some of this new information is difficult to look past (Although, nothing can be known for sure, and everything may be subject to change for the arcade and eventual console release, which is also not confirmed). B droit normal hit > 2A doesn't work anymore (going to assume asw is planning on giving us a new corner combo) rumor: cannot hold 4 to make b droit travel less distance, cannot control the distance as well (This is huge, for me at least) cannot cancel [5B] into anything but droit? I actually don't mind the idea of massive amounts of nerfs, so long as she gets options. Seeing options disappear completely, sucks. I don't want to see her become even more auto-pilot-able, which is a problem I've struggled with. And I would like to once again emphasize that this version of the game does not represent the finished product. Stay optimistic, whoever you main.

Flux and Anti, are you both still down for your FT10 Saturday? Anti, since you get back from your locals around 9:30ish, would 10:00pm EST work as a stream time (Give or take a little bit)? I just want to be able to plan my day accordingly.
