If you are looking for matches for characters other than Misaka or Kirino I have made a pastebin of all the videos I went through which can be found: Here so just ctrl + f, find the character, and put the video title into Youtube. I am not going to compile matches for other characters besides who I am going to main (Kuroyukihime), I was just doing this as a favor which took me 4 days to do.

I would be fine with DLC as long as the characters aren't all from Sega games.

It isn't obsolete unless you plan on going to Japan between now and the console release. Tournaments over here will still be running 1.1, so it isn't hurting you any unless you do in fact want to go over there.
