I think for the most part you played well against the Elizabeth. There were a decent amount of rounds where you died just because you didn't know about her animations when she's using her persona, and all it takes is one hit to take us down to 1/4 health seeing as how we're made of paper. There's a few things I want to comment on though: - Would have liked to see more 5a pressure. You wanna stay in on her as much as possible and seeing as how her fastest move is 7 frames and she wasn't using her F-Action at all, you could have stayed on her pretty hard. You have a habit of chaining out of 5A into normals other than 2a, particularly 5c, and while this isn't super bad or anything, it puts you at midscreen where she can blow you up pretty hard. - I saw you like to do 5c > IAD > J.c a lot and while it worked against this Elizabeth, it can be pretty dangerous to do and should be done sparingly. Her 2B can easily stuff it and lead to a ton of damage. Also try and avoid using it when it'll put you near the corner for obvious reasons. - Also noticed you like do 5a > JC to apply pressure in the corner and that's really dangerous for the same reason as above. - Your execution on meterless combos is pretty good. I still have problems connecting B double fang > dash > 5C in real matches. - Your confirms into SMP, particularly off of 5a, could have been better. There were a number of times where you could have done an SMP, burned his burst, and still had enough meter to do another one if you touched him again. - I think this one is arguable but I think throwing out ground traps sparingly during neutral game is pretty good. You run the risk of getting tagged by zio but it can lead to some surprising situations. You like to do cross-up J.c a lot so you could throw one down and if you decide to do a cross-up, pressure them into it and then do something like double fang A, wiffing the first part of the attack for a quick overhead into the trap for great damage. -

To be honest, I don't think it's worth it to try going for an SMP off j.a. I actually haven't tried it, but I can imagine it'll prorate really hard unless you manage to get only one j.a in there. Usually I just do a meterless corner combo off of them and set up oki again. As for your question about the combo off D trap, it works. Just try and make sure they're above your head before you try and connect the C shots and it should work.

Idk if they're actually doing an SMP if they're using B double fang that early. I think they probably just didn't confirm into an SMP but they can still turn it into around 5k with this combo. 5B > 5C > 236B > Mudoon > 214C > 236A~D > [214C hits] 214D > 236A~D > [214D hits] 2[C] > 5C > IAD > j.A > j.C > 5C > 236 A~D As for tagging people in the corner with bullets, just use the same combo you'd do if you Ex rolled out of the corner and tagged them with bullets.

I've been having problems fighting Yosukes. I feel like any buttons I press lose to his all the time. Also, I don't feel like I have the time to place traps down cause he's so fast. Also the pistol seems to be kinda meh in my neutral game cause kunais seem to blow it up. Any tips on how to deal with this guy?

After watching this set I just got really sad. It was godlike to see Denpa play a FT10 but it sucks to watch Naoto try and deal with Yu's oki. The fact that Naoto is made out of paper doesn't help either D: -

In order to use 2B properly, you really have to get a good read on your opponent and oftentimes it's more trouble than its worth. It's hard to just throw it out and get success with it like with Teddy's or Narukami's 2B. It's got shit range and takes till frame 9 of its 11 frame start up to become invulnerable to air moves. But on the upside, if you hit someone with it you get corner carry or if you have 50 meter, you can SMP combo someone for around 8.9k. -

Tried playing around with this idea. 5AA > 5B > 2C > mudo > D megido > 2A+B > D megido hits > [2]C > 5C > 236236A > OMB > 66 > SMPx10 > 236A~D. Unfortunately, the most reps out of the SMP I could get were 6-7 before silence wore off so it was around 6.2-6.6k. Also this requires 100 meter and a burst so its kinda impractical but if it'll win you the match then w/e. Thing is people will probably burst way sooner then the silence unless they know you tend to drop the combo. Did another combo where the SMP would be less obvious. 5AA > 5B > 5C > 2C > 236236A > OMB > 2B > mudo > 2A+B > SMPx11 > 236A~D Problem is with this one, you only get 3-4 reps of SMP before they can burst getting you only around 4.2k. Also the opponent has to be all the way in the corner in order for it to work. I hope someone can come up with something better cause having unburstable full damage SMP combos would be awesome. -

I don't really think there's a use for hameon. I mean, if they have 0 skulls by the time you touch them, you should be doing stuff > 2C > mudo. And if you're ending a combo in 236A or sweep, they don't remove skulls so you won't be able to mix them up to IK. -

Actually, now that you mention it, I recall Xie talking about how he and Bond were testing whether or not you could do this to everyone one day on WNF and he said it worked on about half the cast. -

^ that. I think its actually impossible to do something like 5AA > 5C > 236B~D > 66 > 5C on a grounded opponent unless they end up cornered from the 236B~D. -

Well I don't know if you're doing it or not but when doing 236B~D, holding down D makes the cancel out of aim happen as fast as possible. For the dash after, I watch for Naoto to raise her arms up at the end of 236B~D and use that as a visual que to buffer the dash. As for the IAD after C, be careful not to buffer the input for the IAD too fast. If you do you'll just end up jumping in the air. And you probably already knew this but throwing it out there anyways, remember to go 9 > 5 > 6 or the IAD won't work. -
In this match-up, I think you just have to play it patient try and bait out one of her B moves. If you mix up your approaches doing things like jump in IAD back or dash in jump back right outside of 5b and jb range with and manage to make one of them wiff, you're pretty much guaranteed in because their recovery is absolutely horrible. And if you manage to condition them to second guess throwing out those normals for the rest of the match, that's even better. And yea, raid is pretty godlike in this match-up. If you have 100 meter you can actually do up to 60% of her health if you combo 2 raids together. Works wonders against Elizabeths who get complacent with their stuff.
