I was gonna save the Lightning mirror, but I forgot and then it was too late. I'll probably save some replays next time and upload them to youtube if you don't mind.

Tekken Tag Tournament worked that way, you lose a character you lose the round. Also, this is very early gameplay footage, I am sure they are not finished fleshing it out.

Yeah, well, whenever anyone is up for some games just let me know. We can always arrange a room on Ad-Hoc party.
-
Yessss! We do! I've been practicing some more characters, too. :3 When can we play? :D
-
Well, that's pretty much how battle drops work. lol
-
Is Yuushiro taking place too? Because if so, all my money is on Hoang! No I am jk Yuushiro <3

I just made mine through the shop, lol.

Yewp, basically you choose one of his limiters, 4 braves(Really all you need, as a few of them are actually either redundant or not that great), and 3 HP moves(There's only like 3 good ones anyway). You basically don't have a choice for critical moves, but that's all that you will be missing on if you choose your abilities correctly... and he doesn't really need the criticals since he hits like 11 trucks already.
-
Don't equip the abilities that get rid of his limiters. The Bravery going down, no assists, and no ex mode limiters don't really affect him much. He's a beast without needing those abilities.

There is Diamond Rings, Diamond Necklaces, and Diamond Studs. They each give 400% AP, 200% AP, and 100% AP respectively iirc... Something like that. That's the trick go getting a lot of AP. Equip each Diamond accessory, a Beckoning Cat, and the Dazzling Diamond set, then go to Gateway of Good and Evil(I think that's the one), stand on the panel where your accessories won't break.. and farm AP! All 3 of the Diamond ring/necklace/studs accessories have 100% chance of breaking. If you have 10 slots, I suggest you also equip this Diamond Ring Diamond Necklace Diamond Studs Beckoning Cat Valor Incense Valor Incense/Hero's Seal/First to Victory Valor Resin Hero's Spirit Hero's Spirit Hero's Essence What this does is let you gain a lot of AP, give you a huge boost of bravery at the start of the round... to 9999 bravery lol. So that means you can get that 9999 AP chance by just spamming your HP attacks until they hit. So, keep resetting the match until it gives you the +3AP chance first HP attack 9999. Each match against the manikins will be 70AP this way. If needed, set the difficulty to moderate under options, to make it faster. Yes, I am cheap like that. :< The hero's spirit and hero's essence are so you have more CP to equip more abilities, and master stuff faster. Another recommended thing to do is unequip all your brave attacks once mastered, since you probably won't need them as you only need to spam HP attacks. Unless your brave moves combo into HP moves. As to where the Diamond Rings are, you can beat Arcade Mode Standard on hard to get one. Also, there's a few in 000. Actually, beat arcade mode standard in each difficulty to get each one of the Diamond breakable accessories.

rofl! I love Lightning, but I don't use her much against you since I don't like mirrors much(Who does anyway? lol... other than orka, he's weird like that!). EDIT: Alright, so I just finished testing out the JP DLC stuff... and.. it works! I am rocking out to Lightning Brea and Liberi Fatali >.<

I want that...! I'd be happy with just the Prishe, Tifa, Yuna, and Lightning portraits though.
-
I am actually working on doing this right now :>

Who are you, Anji Mito?

If you want to beat feral chaos quick, you can always xcopy this set up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXCkxSDJFa0

Most characters will benefit from an assist based set up. Almost none will benefit from EX set up save for Gabranth.. but even then you want Gabranth to be able to use assists.. He needs them.

lol Well, most tournaments are usually No equipment, no accessories, no summons, final destination. But, sometimes there is a tournament with equipments and stuff here and there. The game is a lot more fun when you get to use equipment and come up with awesome accessory set ups. But, I feel like you should play the game without any of those too so you get a feel for the game too without having to rely on your equipment and accessories.

Iai strike is pretty much always banned for equipment tournaments.

You could try to battlegen it off the moogle friendcards you get via the Mognet. There's two that I know of.. One has Yuna, the other has Kain. I think it's the farplane moogle(I thiiink), and the No.1 Moogle or something like that. As for creating it, I forget the exact ingredients, but it actually isn't that much. If you wish to know the set up, it's a character set to level 1 equipping the following Saftey Bit Iai Strike Hatless ArmorLess Gloveless WeaponLess HP=100%/Near Loss Lvl 1-9 Lvl Gaap > 90 Side by Side/Sunrise/Whatever you want. Basically, any enemy that's level 91 or higher will make the whole thing activate and you get a 99x multiplier. Of course, you need to make sure you wear no equipment, because well.. it's pointless since you are level 1 anyway. The great thing about this is that it lets you grab all the awesome KP bonuses of those level 100 dungeons, and you can breeze through the later dungeons. Saftey Bit is there so that if you do get hit, you'll survive with 1 HP.. then as soon as you land an HP attack you can heal to 1000 HP again via the use of EXP to HP. Side by Side could be used so that you gain a lot of assist meter, so in the case you are at 1 HP you can just use Assist change to survive. This set up can pretty much make you invincible. I think it is side by side, I forget which accessory it was, but it's the one that I think blocks EX gauge for the exchange of having insane assist building.

Btw, you should not ignore Cure/Cura... they are actually good skills to equip at least one. It really helps when you happen to be a little bit below the required brave to one shot your opponent. Instead of trying to land an extra brave attack, which could be risky, you can always cast some cure or cura. Also, for overly defensive opponents like Ex-death, you can not risk it and get some free brave here and there. Specially since the brave you gain isn't that small. But, if you aren't very used to it, then I guess you don't have to. But, just a few pointers :3

Haha, gotta switch up the patterns a bit. :3

Yeah her Rav role seems to be the best for her, that's what I mainly use when I use her. Watera is just way too good of a move, and Blizaraa is pretty good too. However, I find that you always do blizaraa after watera, which gave me a lot of time to back dash out of range and charge EX with Gabranth. Gotta mix up the zoning a bit, which is where Commando probably comes in. Either try tossing some Ruingas or Ruins, or maybe some Fires. You could always just throw a watera and rush in with commando and catch me with her unblockable attack. Well, that's what's so good about Light, she has so many options.

I'd buy an Xbox 360 just for this.
