I've been outta the loop for a bit but where or how exactly did they blunder with 2.0? All I know is that Nu is apparently top tier but surely it can't be CT Nu now can it?
-
Alright I think THIS was the East and West rankings mentioned previously East Players who made the list -Mitsurugi -Minami -Konan -Tetsuwo West players -Tsujikawa -Dogura -N-O -Galileo And just to avoid confusion, right side of the list says "Versatile" and left side says "Has weaknesses". Eastern players Comments on their own list Eastern players comments on the Western list Western players comments on their own list Western players comments on the Eastern list

Not sure if he means this or not It appears to be a CP 2.0 tier list from Dogura and Galileo. Probably only based off the loktest though. Galileo S: Celica, Lambda-11, Nu-13, Litchi A: All characters that have their own unique meter B: Others Dogura Special spot: Tager S: Celica, Lambda-11 A: Azrael, Hazama, Jin B: Kokonoe, Litchi, Carl C: Others Not too sure what "All characters that have their own unique meter" is suppose to mean but I assume it's Carl, Relius, Tsubaki, Hazama, Izayoi, Tager, Hakumen, Nu, Bang, Amane, Rachel, Valk and Platinum. And that's a whole lotta characters.

[CP] Kagura Mutsuki - Combo thread (Updated 4/14/2014)
George Costanza replied to MikelAL93's topic in Archive
I may be doing it wrong but I think this combo does not work anymore as 2DA makes Kagura airborne now so he can't do the 46B afterwards. -
My inability to remember that Hazama's 214D-B is NOT a DP COME ON THOUGH JUST LOOK AT IT! HOW IS NOT ONE!?

[Xrd] News & (Theoretical) Gameplay Discussion
George Costanza replied to Shinjin's topic in Guilty Gear General
It's minor, however I am incredibly happy that they've retained all the same sound effects from previous games. -
Unfortunately I believe that Buronson had a bit of a falling out with Jump a few years back.

I'm sure this has been said before, but I think that the a major issue is that Fighting games are INCREDIBLY different from other genres. An action game, an FPS, even an RTS. There are tons of mechanics in these games, mechanics that can be used to become a super skilled player when used and understood at its best. However the best thing is.....you don't have to go on the internet or wade through walls of text to be good at these games. You can learn how to play the game through the GAMEPLAY, simply playing the game will give you an understanding of everything. By the time you beat the game, you may not be the master of masters but you know what's going on and you're probably atleast a little adept to it. You know what shit does and you know how shit works and the key part is you didn't have to do anything other then PLAYING THE GAME in order to gain all this knowledge. It didn't feel like school It felt like a video game. This is where fighting games tend to fall flat. You can play the singleplayer in a fighting game on i's hardest difficulty and you probably know a good 2% of what the hell is going on in this game. It's very hard for fighting games to teach you its mechanics without it turning into "WORDS WORDS WORDS WORDS WORDS" The only other alternative is to be told "Well there's these helpful videos/wikis that you can read/watch that will help you" But that's a problem. Most people don't want to do things that involve them NOT playing the game in order to learn how to play the game. It gets to a point where it stops feeling like a video game and starts feeling like school.
