I assigned shortcuts for Rapid Cancel and Taunt to LT and RT on my controller, and it's a habit that's stuck. It works for me. As for other games I can play with a stick... I think all I've got is Skullgirls (which I've barely touched so far).

So I got this brand new Hori X2 for my 360 off EBay for $50 AUD, and I... have no idea how to use this. I'm trying different grips and I've got a comfortable button setup, but it's so goddamned clunky compared to my Razer Tournament edition controller. It doesn't help that I don't have anything comfortable to rest it on while I play. Update: My ring and pinky fingers are really, really sore now. I can't figure out how to comfortably cover all six buttons.

Well, when I play with my friend who lives in the UK, I have a red-bar connection to her and there's about half a second of input delay. I can handle that and I have a stellar (if inconsistent) internet, but I'm more concerned about other people possibly losing patience and/or their connection.

I dunno, in that case I personally feel fine with her being a one-off thing, like Abyss and Night Terror in Soul Calibur III or Onaga in Mortal Kombat: Deception. Bosses come and go. No, I'm totally not saying that I want her gone because of that wankerof a Mu player who beat me in a mini-tourney by sitting back and spamming Stein's Gunner and Sword of Decimation all match. I certainly am not massively butthurt over losing over and over to her in arcade mode or at all driven to vigorous headdesking by her unfitting outfit.

With all the (somewhat) obvious preference for the Japanese version around these parts, I feel a little alone in my anticipation for the English dub. BB has, in my opinion, one of the best dubs around.

Well, not all of us are hardcore fighting gamers. The only other fighter I've ever played seriously was Mortal Kombat, and I can't even get my fix of that because the new one is banned here.

New guy here, looking for Australian/NZ Extend players. I guess I'm a low-tier player, but it's hard to tell because I can never find any suitable matches to draw comparisons from. I'm a first-year university student with no job and a light workload, so I'm free most days and nights. Unless I'm in a party, feel free to hit me up anytime.

I have two playstyles outside of fighting games: Hitting/shooting things and hitting/shooting things in the back. With that in mind, I figured the former was a better choice in BB, so I'd reckon Ragna is my main. Problem is, I want Hazama to be my main. I'm nowhere near as good as I could be with him and I can't combo for shit, but he's just such a cool character and a fun villain. I just don't have the dexterity to master him.

Well... I've been using a pad since I started gaming on consoles (2007, IIRC) and having tried a stick before I have to say I prefer pads. The compact design just fits my hands a lot better, and to me playing with a stick is like two-handing a keyboard, which feels really weird. I use a Razer Onza tournament edition 360 pad and it works fine (though the rubber on the left stick got worn down by countless hours of futile training). I dunno, maybe it's because I play a lot of shooters, but I play much more fluidly with a pad than a stick.
