Decided to test this in training. -2 seems to be the magic number. I'm capable of getting purple throw off -1 with perfect execution, but I always get non-purple on -2 or higher (lower?) I'm using non-IB 5C. Works pretty damn well. The problem is you have to have really good execution because pushing C too early will get you something like AC or 6C gatling. A Sledge works really well, but A sledge is reversable. It just seems really obvious to me as well. I don't know whether blockstun is affected by crouching or not. If it is then you'd need a move that's -4 in order to compensate.

I might be on in a sec. Room's up now. I was tempted to set the "Room level" to 9001.

Pretty sure you need a little bit more minus than that. All I know is 5D is an amazing move for it. I don't know how many frames "out of blockstun" an opponent has to be in order to not get purple throwed.

I did a quick-wake 360 on you once that would've worked and I got neutral tech instead. Sure some mistakes just happen, but when it's just one thing after another it becomes easy to just not want to play the game anymore. Maybe it's the effect of playing locally for the first time in my life.
