Was a lot more fun towards the end once I had gotten warmed up on Hazama and we started going 50/50'ish on each other :P I liked that part around the 5th from last game where we both whiffed/crossed-up over and over for like 3 seconds straight. Well honestly Hazama is pretty pitiful without meter. That's why he has such amazing meter gain. Without any meter/wall/counter/etc. all you can really do is 5B -> 5C -> 2C -> 3C -> 214D.A If you're really close, you can add 2B after 5B on most characters. If the enemy fails to emergency roll the Falling Fang, you can pick them up again guaranteed with 5C. (they can emergency roll, obviously, but won't be able to tech in time if they don't) If you YouTube "ctraltwtf hazama cse combos" you should be able to find my video. I'd link it but I'm sending this from my phone and its a pain in the ass The only ways to launch an opponent effectively on Hazama are: SIR (obviously) Devouring Fang (combos on counter 5C and counter 3C and throws into the wall) 6B counter Wind Serpent's Fang counter 3C -> Venom Sword into a wall Rising Fang into a wall

My only tip in addition to what others have already said would be to visualize the input in your head as 236236 -> 6+B. This really helps me do it reliably. There's a lot of use for this on wake-up as well, because people will pressure you with stuff because they think they're safely out of range. A really good example is Lambda trying to camp you in the corner with her 5Cs

I think I have more of a reputation for kicking people who pick Auto over and over again. In my defense, I generally give a warning before I do (which people ignore 95% of the time). Put it this way, if I had no choice to but to be gay, Daisuke Ishiwatari is the man I would choose. So I like listening to all the music and playing on all the stages. If you just pick Auto all the time it's just Gluttony Fang and Rainy Kagutsuchi Port all day And if you're still on I can play you a bit Aldreat. ggs badlime, I can barely remember how to play this game. You don't know how many times I kept mashing 6D whenever you got near me xD (I was doing that the entire time on Relius when you got me in the corner on Tsubaki, then I finally remembered the grab input is B+C lol)

Uh you have 0 bars with me now Nemesis, I have no idea what has happened to our conn. As in, I cannot even join your rooms anymore due to the 0 barness of it.

Looking for anyone to play against, preferably expert-level. I'm usually available midnight-5am MST time. (that's 1 hour ahead of West Coast) Fair warning: I don't play more than one match if the conn is terrible, just isn't worth the aggravation. I play Hazama (best) & Relius (still worthy of being a main) but rarely play Hazama because he's too sensitive to lag.

The netplay is doing some seriously weird shit today. Now it likes to freak out on the character select screen and pop up the "Communicating..." message like over and over to the point where you can't even get out of the menu....

A lot of matches are so bad I actually have difficulty selecting my character xD It can be fine if you actually get someone with a decent connection though.

I've really wanted to ask this for a while seeing as I own both a 360 and a PS3, but I've always been on the 360 for BlazBlue and frankly, CSE is practically a ghost town on XBL now. With CP coming out in the not-soon-enough future I was wondering if I should make the switch to PSN. How difficult is it to find a Player Match or Ranked Match on PSN on CSE generally? On XBL it's practically impossible now except during prime-time/weekends you might find a handful of people.

I started with Haku-men because he had counters, which always appealed to me. When CS came out I messed around with the leaked PC thing and honestly I thought Hazama was a stupid character when I first tried him. Once the game was actually out I still stuck with Haku-men for about a month. Then on a whim I picked up Hazama again and I never went back after learning just how ridiculously complicated he can get. I tend to gravitate towards characters that have the hardest time winning (that doesn't necessarily mean bottom tier), and are played by the least amount of skilled players. (There's a lot of really bad Hazamas out there....) I was originally thinking about Carl but Carl is generally always played by super hardcore players and I don't really like playing the characters that are associated with that.

No idea how alive this thread actually is but I just wanted to thank Beast for the amazing tabs. I was able to learn Oriental Flower with your tab which gave me the confidence to learn other songs by ear, so thanks much (if you even read these posts anymore!)
