  1. I got the day off I'll be available.
  2. I've got a bunch of replays of Tager losing last night when mAc and I were grinding this MU. We took turns between who was Hakumen and who was Tager. I think I posted something in the match finder threads like "This is conclusive evidence that Tager is bad." lol Magnetism greatly dictates the battle. You lose the ability to safely use your pokes once you get magnetized because it puts you into 360A+magnetism range which counters your Cs cleanly.
  3. God damn I'm so good I get GGs even when I'm not playing the game.
  4. Brother is bitching about going to the grocery store I might be on later. Not like I can actually play right now anyway.
  5. I would agree with you that this matchup is pretty fucking close but I also wonder if it's just because we are way too yomi-aware of each other's playstyles lol. DeadliestxXx would probably be a better XBL Tager to fight against.
  6. Well 720 counters it easily if you're falling when you start the jB, but if you do a rising jB meaty you have enough time, after whiffing jB, to do a jB/jump again. However, using a rising jB for meaty can put you in a risky situation if Tager IBs it. Tager doing backstep 2A seems to work well enough against it, although I think a Hotaru at the last moment might save you against that. So basically, mind games all over again. This setup seems pretty good against Tager overall though. jB > MTW > Hotaru jB > 720 > jA/jump out
  7. I can't believe the bullshit that is happening. ggs don't play hazama online. free rapid cancels for everyone.
  8. Why can I input houtenjin all day long but not mtw
  9. this is like conclusive evidence that Tager is bad.
  10. According to the frame data, a MTW clash > Hakumen uses Hotaru > Tager uses AC means Tager would win easily. Now to use this against mAc.... EDIT: Okay after futzing about in Training I see what you're talking about Sans, you mean just jB'ing and hitting MTW's guard frames and canceling into Hotaru (not a clash). This is a really powerful tool against MTW. Good thing mAc will never use it. This should definitely be in the OP. There's a flaw with it though, and that's that 720 counters it xD Still, great bait for MTW.
  11. Maybe Ragna will actually be able to use BK to BS seems like the move of choice for BK combos, it links off of jD during it. OD DBD seems to heal for like 1500 HP or so, combining those two moves in a combo sounds yummy.
  12. I should be fine for Wednesday.
  13. Tager can cancel into stuff from a MTW clash as well. We end up in this situation all the time when mAc tries a meaty Hotaru.
  14. I didn't mean passing up good starters if you get them, I'm just pointing out the significance of the poking phase in this MU. Practically every round of this MU starts with a footsies/poking phase that can have a big impact on the outcome of the match. Obviously you should always do your best with the confirms you get because most of Haku's low-star combos actually t gain meter instead of losing it. What I meant to suggest was not to end the poking phase when you don't have to, make Tager work for it. Its not your job to make closing the distance easier for him, he'll make you regret it.
  15. Whenever I'm fighting you on Tager you always end up with at least 2 stars at the end of a combo, on the rare times you don't I'm not intimidated at all because I know you can't do your Hotaru scumbag tactics, and even if you do confirm me again you can't turn it into a real combo. Basically what I'm suggesting is to milk the poking phase for all it's worth. Tager's not gaining meter and you are. Once that phase is over (usually when Tager finally gets near you) then you just switch to the usual tactics.
  16. This. This is probably the single most important thing you should ever worry about. Unless it kills, don't ever extend your combo to the point where it leaves you star-less. I personally think the best strat is to try to save all the way up the 6+ stars during footsies/poking phase and then once you get a good confirm you end the match all at once. Doing this almost always provokes a Burst as well and Haku is a really good anti-Burst character. Doing this also gives you a big meter advantage because Tager doesn't charge meter constantly like you do. After j2A'ing mAcs spark bolts yesterday I can confirm you still get magged from it, so avoidance is still the best option. 1 star isn't worth getting magged and potentially giving Tager a setup. You can use j2A on your way down to ensure you don't get spark bolted on your way back down from jumps though. Time it so all the projectile-cut frames are still active during your descent. At the very least, D'ing Spark Bolt saves you a guard bevel. 3C is annoying as fuck to Tager, but never try to use it when you're magged except on reaction. Tager 6B beats way too many things at the start of the round (god DAMN you mucky)
  17. yeah you would be scared. ggs
  18. all those "OK"s forcibly remind me of the seagulls from Finding Nemo.
  19. lol why did 3c whiff whyyyyy
  20. I just learned a new technique. I'm sure you know what it is mAc.
  21. Guymam is Santa? CT Hazama: Gasaishou has F1 invulnerability. Houtenjin is an overhead for no fucking reason at all. Mizuchi is unblockable. Jakou can't be barrier blocked. Ouroboros refills to 2 on block. 5C hits 9 times. jC has no repeat proration and gatlings into itself again. 3C has head and body invulernability. 6B has feet invulnerability. 6C has guard frames.
  22. what the FUCK am I watching.
  23. Fuckin' ragnas how do they work
