  1. I doubt Valiant and Hornet are unblockable. The only comfirmed unblockable is BHS. If they are unblockable, that's great. If not, you can still combo into them easily.
  2. It usually depends on what you want to do afterwards but I think the maximum number of Valiant Charges is 6. So you can do 6 > 5C 6 times in a row but it probably ruins your damage so most people just do it 4 times. If you do 6 > 5C 4 times, you can do 6 > 6C > 6 > j.C afterward and do some swag combo.
  3. I got Jourdal to upload it so everyone can watch it. We have to show everyone that they should be afraid of Azrael.
  4. [uW][LW] 5B(CH) > 2C > 3D > 6A > 236D > [6] > 5C > [6] > 5C > [6] > 6C > [6] > j.C > 6B > 22C > 6A It's rare that we see Valiant Chargers into something other than 5C. EDIT: Maybe you could do 5B into Aerial after 22C and reapply a weakpoint. Would give nice damage and a weakpoint without using meter.
  5. Just sayin', the first video of Azrael's Astral is dead so you should exchange the link in the first post with this one: http://youtu.be/syn-rxxpNMA?t=4m33s Also, it's name is Patriot Apocalypse and I added an image of it into the imgur album if someone wants to look at it for some reason: http://imgur.com/a/IyGhu The only move that's still missing is 2D because Tahichi doesn't seem to like it. If any of you see it in an HD video, tell me so I can add it and finally complete that album.
  6. Yeah, I'd be great if we could try it out and see but we'll just have to wait until some Japanese player talks about it.
  7. If your opponent uses a projectile, you can either absorb it or dash through it. Of course there's other stuff that can be done but those are the ones I'll concentrate on for now. Absorbing a projectile gives you Phalanx Cannon which can be used to break your opponent's pressure and apply your own. BUT your opponent can very well predict when you will use your projectile, just like you did with his. So, if he predicts when you will use it and blocks or dodges it you are back to square one. If he IADs, you are in a bit of trouble. However, if you dash through your opponent's projectile, you have the upper hand. You are closer to them(as long as you dash forward, of course) and can do with them what you want(as long as it's fast enough). You could dash through a projectile then use 5C > Buster and even if they block, you are in their face. Unless you are really confident in your use of Phalanx, dashing would be a better choice. But let's not forget that you can fuck with your opponent's mind if you absorb a close-ranged projectile-based attack, like some of Rachel's.
  8. Most good Azrael players use Growler as a reversal in the corner or when they are 100% sure that they can absorb a projectile. They usually throw it away really fast which I don't really get but whatever. Sure, if you want to play a bit more risky, you could go for Growler a lot more but Phalanx isn't really worth risking a bunch of damage. It's only good for pressure unless someone has been hiding a Phalanx starter combo from us. And I don't really think Azrael needs help with his pressure.
  9. Here are pictures of most of Azrael's moves from the HD videos jourdal uploaded: http://imgur.com/a/IyGhu Some moves weren't used, like Hornet Bunker. To compensate for that I was generous enough to upload 2 pictures of Scud Punishment.
  10. That might be possible because Azrael can be hit a bit after he activates Growler Field, which might be when it stops being active. It would be easier to judge if I knew what the animation for clashes looks like in CP. It didn't look like a normal guard but that might just be because of the aura he's giving off during it.
  11. I saw an Azrael and an Amane test some stuff about 214B on a stream. I'm not sure of this yet but I think it blocks all attacks. I can't make any guarantees because it might just be that all the attacks Amane used were projectiles but it seemed like it can block even non-projectile attacks except for lows. I'll definitely look into Growler Field and post if I find out anything new.
