Yep. It's all about showing off, but also practical. You can probably throw in a mind charge if necessary. And yeah, Thanatos is still airborne because of the OMB. But if you do it to early or too late(or something i dunno) then Thanatos will reappear on the ground instead of doing the SB. Agi while in the air and that means you just dropped the combo. He must be in the air in order for the the SB. Agi to catch them falling from the OMB. Something about him being airborne makes him send out agi faster and it starts off closer to the falling guy i think. No clue what you're talking about with Garu

You going through mah played games archive? Star Ocean 4: The story is below average. Not as good as 1 and 2(have not finished 3). Terrible terrible voice acting, and half the cast is annoying. The battle system is awesome, the redeeming quality of the game. Unfortunately the best combos in the game is just basically spamming your strongest attack over and over, instead of requiring you to do something with variety. Eternal Sonata: I broke the CD before I even started chapter 2 Which is unfortunate because I'm not gonna buy it again. Looked like it was gonna be interesting, battle system and story. Also i upped that mahaomon combo.

I did not come up with this combo, I saw it on youtube, but I can no longer find it. So as to help other Liz mains learn this tech, I am uploading this. 2. I did Mahaomon way late, but it still works. You can use it a earlier than I did. 3. I did not do the optimal Garu loop for this combo, which would be SB Garu[8~2] D Garu[2]. I only did D Garu[2] to make it easier on myself since I'm still not comfortable with Garu loops, and this already a doozy of a combo to get off in one shot. 4. Because I used only D Garu[2], I was forced to use Sweep ~ A Bufu as a combo ender to finish. 5. This combo ender will work if the opponent a.chooses not to tech b.neutral techs c.techs upward However it will not work if they choose to tech forward or backward. 6. If you do the optimal Garu loop instead of the Garu shown in the vid, you will not need to use the Sweep A Bufu combo ender, since the combo will be extended long enough for your opponent to fall into Mahaomon after SB Agi. Thus making the combo perfect unless your opponent uses his burst.(This is a guess, since I have not actually tested the optimal combo) 7. Also good news elochai, I can connect OMB with SB Agi fairly consistently. not sure if i should get the whole combo down before uploading it or just the 5B OMB SB Agi

5B must return almost all the way back, and ofc SB agi must be cast immediately after OMB. I've done it before so I know it works. But yeah timing is pretty strict. oh and i think you have to be pretty close to them before you 5B as well, not too sure about that. Like right in there face.

You can instead go with 5B OMB SB Agi Mahaomon ~ combo. they cannot break out of it unless they have a burst or you drop it, instead of them simply ignoring your agi, which most skilled players are able to do. Downside is you use your burst, but youre going for style here so yeah. theres a video of it somewhere on youtube, can't find it now though.

Catching a falling target with agidyne is tough. I've had more than enough super cancelling into mahaomon from agidyne in liz's challenge #30, and to attempt to do it while trying to catch them falling is gonna make me toss my controller in rage. Nah, instead im gonna learn some 1 more burst combos which deal over 10k damage Gotta brush up on garu loops, learn the timing for attacking at the burst, and grind out the ghastly wail ender. It'll help me improve my overall game even if i can't completely learn the touch of death. I'll post a link to the vid in the liz section so only liz players can see. Can't leak any more tech now

I hate all matchups except chie. I like playing against chie. Mutsuru TOO OP!! No seriously Mitsuru against liz is total bullshit! Elochai left me in awe when he kept bodying at first. Your W/L is actually what made me want to challenge you. lol Also This shit too good!! I did against ciddypoo and it worked liked magic. Couldn't followup though because I didn't expect to have to move. I tried to do it again where ciddypoo pobably wasn't gonna burst just to test it out again, but it completely whiffed, so yeah spacing is weird without any practice. I think I'm too fair when it comes to hosting. I let people who I know are gonna lag, badly, stay and fight. I just fight everyone who comes. never run. until maybe after a few matches of being bodied. Cannot let myself get bodied more than 10 times in a row ya know. some sort of subconscious conscious limit ive placed on myself.

ah so they were using SB Garu and not D Garu in those combo vids. I should get to practicing it then, I do want to 2B more.

So I've been wondering, does 2B jC D Garu work off any air hitconfirm? or are there some conditions needed? I seldom use 2B as anti-air and when I hit it, I almost always get nothing off it.

Well I have actually never tried it, as I just let them break Thanatos, and then throw Thanatos at them again which most likely results in them breaking him again, then I do something random to confuse them after which I followup with step 1. But in theory(?) Thanatos cancelling straight away into 2C would put him closer to liz than to the enemy so covering him with 5B should work in warding them off. i think? People shouldn't be that hellbent on breaking Thanatos anyway.
