Jumping back on the track! Season 2 of our Ranbats are still among us! This time, there will be some special surprises! But before that: The ranbat season ends once someone amasses 80 POINTS (special circumstances warranted this.) Once that occurs, the top EIGHT (8) scoring players will meet in a Single Elimination, 3/5 Tournament to determine the overall champion of the season. Be on your A-game, because the season can end either very quickly, or take quite some time. Now for the special surprises: 1) The player who amasses 80 points, will also get a copy of Alan Wake & Alan Wake's American Nightmare (as the prizes for last season were changed last minute.) 2) This season, point values will be decreased, in an effort to prolong the season. 3) Night of Champions will happen the week AFTER the end of the season. 4) If there is a tie for 8th at the end of the season, there will be a playoff to determine who gets that 8th place spot for Night of Champions. FAQs What if I cannot participate at a particular ranbat? It's no big deal. We all have lives that we must live, it is the essence of human existence. Register at your leisure. How often is the Ranbat Reboot going to take place? Weekly, on Thursday Nights. When do weekly registrations close? Thursday Nights at 10:15pm EST. (They close at 7pm this Friday) Will there be a way for us to communicate during the ranbat? Absolutely! Here's the instructions! 1: Go to http://mibbit.com/ 2: Scroll to the bottom. Click the yellow button marked "Still interested? Chat now" 3: Connect should be to "Mibbit [webirc]" (It is the default option.) 4: Nick should be your DUSTLOOP ACCOUNT NAME (just so everyone knows who you are.) 5: Channel = #FBTVRanbats Please note, everyone should be in the room by 10:15pm EST, so things can move smoothly. Is there ANYTHING else that I should know? Yes there is, and these are some of the most important things about this ranbat. 1) WILLFUL disconnects will incur a one (1) game penalty. If it happens a second time, that player forfeits the match. 2) Off-Stream Matches must be reported as soon as they are finished. You can report them yourself in Challonge, to make things easier. 3) Most importantly: Try to enjoy yourselves! This is designed to be competitive, but fun can be experienced through competition! If I miss my match, what happens? There is a 10 minute window for your match. If you miss it, you forfeit your match. If you will be late, PLEASE feel free to e-mail me at clintonbowman@outlook.com Will there be weekly updates? Yes! Check out Hit-Confirm Live every Thursday night at 9pm for the score updates, as well as for any updates to the rules. You can also go to The Official Hit-Confirm Live tumblr page! Hi. Hola. Bonjour. What's really good? Clinton 'Young Navigator' Bowman here, with a little bit of explanation as to the abrupt break in the ranbat season. While it has only been one week, the switch from one job to the next has really taken a small toll on me, backing me up with everything that I had to do. I lost the archives to Week 1 of Season 2, and I haven't been able to archive Week 2 on YouTube. Well, all of that has changed. I have been able to move my entire workstation to my mother's apartment in Brooklyn for the summer, since I will be staying there while I am working at my summer camp, while looking for people to sublet my room in Queens until my final year of school starts. Therefore, the ranbats will continue this coming Thursday night! I'll be posting the details for Season 2 Week 3 during Monday Night Raw tomorrow night, so stay tuned for that. The hype level will still be the same, and the action will return as furious as we left it. #GETHYPEPERSONA!

Yeah, I'll be making an announcement tonight on Twitch.

It's been a while. While I have been busy finishing up a successful first season of the Persona 4 Arena Ranbat Reboot, don't feel as if I have forgotten you all here in BlazBlue land. A lot of what I have been mulling over involves adding some variety to the mix when it comes to some of my content on Force Break Television, which you can find by clicking here. I have mostly put up Persona 4 Arena content, as I felt as if that was a game that should get more burn, however, BlazBlue, as a more technical game, should get equal footing, in my opinion. That being said, I'd like to hearken back to the Interest thread that I put up a while ago. I'd like to revamp that, and try to secure ONE match up for BlazBlue's inaugural venture onto FBTV. So this is what I'd like to see in terms of the first week. Let's nominate a couple match ups that EVERYONE would like to see. I'll keep a list of these as the week goes by, and by Saturday, I'd like to put up a poll to see who will be featured first. The subsequent matches, in descending order, will be featured in subsequent weeks. As for the second part of this thread's title, I am beginning the second season of the Persona 4 Arena Ranbat Reboot on June 13th. However, I'm contemplating changing the schedule to bi-weekly, to fit in another game. Guess which game? That's right, BlazBlue CSExtend. But I just don't want to ANNOUNCE a ranbat out of the blue. I want to see everyone's interest in this. Much like the P4A Ranbats, Here is the structure that I am looking at: The BBCSExtend Ranbats will be a part of Thursday Night Throwdowns on Force Break TV, beginning on June 20th, 2013. Point Distribution will be as follows: 1st Place receives 15 points, 2nd gets 8, 3rd gets 4, and 4th gets 2 points. Everyone gets 1 point for participation to start, therefore, 1st place will receive 15+1, and so on and so forth. Anyone can enter, while preference will be given to the East Coast. The ranbats end when a player receives a total of 50 points. Once that happens, the top 6 go on to the Night of Champions playoff, where we determine the overall victor of that season. That being said, I hope that we can get more content out there for BlazBlue in many different facets, including these two programs that I wish to put out there for everyone. Young Navigator replied to Young Navigator's topic in P4A Online Play
Alright, two things: Mr. Biscuits v. Grant being the obvious winner, the official announcement will be made during the UFGT recap tonight on ForceBreak Television (radioinfluencedotcom on Twitch.) Secondly, there will be a fun little surprise surrounding that match. As for June 15th, there will be another sign up thread for that week's showing coming after Thursday Night. -
