  1. Definitely all of this. Finding a way to standardize the format of front page articles is very important for readability. If it is more readable it is more inviting, which is good. You could have two setups 1 that uses smaller images in the header and is more text-heavy and another with a larger image format using less text to catch attention and encourage clicking the article for more details. I also think that navigation on the site is a big issue. Using more clickable graphics would be more straightforward and inviting. You could seperate it by game, where you click on a game logo or placeholder image that could take you to a hub page for that game which would have links to further info for said game (wiki, forum, etc.). Or you could seperate it by resource. A graphic for the wiki, the forums, the video archives, etc.
  2. Hi DFW doods. Glad to see you guys come out for BB at Bar Fights yesterday. I meant to play some casuals with you guys while I was there but I got caught up helping Panda run the stream and doing commentary. I am trying to learn BB so I would love to run some sets with you guys in the future.(Probably online because I live 3.5 hours from the DFW area)
  3. Hello everyone. The first East Texas Fight Club will be run on February 2nd being by Mike O'Hara at Geek World in Tyler, TX. Geek World 410 West Southwest Loop 323, Tyler, TX. (903) 363-9751 As I do not want to steal his thunder and just want to spread the word as much as possible I will post his original post from SRK here as well as the important link he provided for the FaceBook page. If you would like to drop by the SRK post and say hello or ask any questions please feel free as it is active. I would love to see people come out for GG, BB, or P4A or any other game you might play. East Texas hasn't really had the chance to do this apart from driving out to Dallas or Houston so I hope to see you guys there if you can make the drive. http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?threads/tyler-texas-needs-an-fgc.152103/page-4#post-7899505 If you do not want to ask questions on SRK for whatever reason I will take questions here and will answer them after consulting with Mike if I need to.
  4. I mean I understand the people that had to work but I hate that the Texans game was being used as an excuse. I feel like that if you aren't actually going to the game then you could have at least come out for the support. The game was on the TVs at Monsters. I don't know, maybe it is the hunger speaking.
  5. You can add me and I wouldn't mind playing you when I am on. Sadly it is too late for me to play right now.
  6. A friend and I drove 2.5 hours to Houston through the rain to go to the tournament. He was just playing Marvel and I was planning on entering Marvel, Street Fighter, and I fully intended to compete in Persona. I believe that other guy might've been me. And from what I saw and what I was told I was the only one that showed up for Persona. I was so upset.
  7. Well, I would feel better about local play if the Houston scene showed up for Persona this weekend at the tournament in Monsters Arcade but I was the only one that showed.
  8. Hi guys, I am trying to learn this game and netplay seems to be the only way for me to level up so I hope i run into some of you guys online sometime to get experience.

  10. Yup! That's the one Mikko.
  11. I won't be able to attend this ranbat, sadly. Hopefully I can enter the next one. There is a tournament in Houston on Saturday and I will be training up for Marvel although I will be entering Persona too. Would anyone in the South (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma) be interested in adding me for some practice? I like this game but I don't really have locals to play it with. We all play Marvel and Street Fighter more.
