  1. Hey fellas, just got the new patch... is anyone still playing around? I'm working JD>J236Dxn.. does anybody have some insight on the repetitions or anything related?
  2. Is it possible to get an updated combo list for ACR? I'll greatly appreciate it and I'm willing to contribute my 5 cents(if able)
  3. I'll try again with without the j2k... One thing thou, I noticed going for the air combo is really easy against anji because of his hitbox, but landing the 2S after the 2D for chipp, eddie and testament is much more difficult.
  4. I cant answer that but it will still be alot faster than regular door, so it should be a good strategy since the frame data from roby stands for 31 frames for the recovery
  5. Thanks, Ill try to do it with other the characters(i always train with Ky cos its the one who's highlighted on the selection screen) and post again. I always train on a crouching character cos I'm assuming oki setups. I'll keep practicing on both TV's and your suggestions and see what happens ! PD: I'll wait for the #R for the run up combo, its supposed to be easier =P
  6. I'll try to explain something weird that happened to me.. and maybe get some feedback ! I was playing some matches on my friends house the other day and I realized my TV has some frame delay. Once i got used to my friends TV i started comboing much better.. the thing was: Usually when I try to drill cancel in my TV, i pull it off and ground combo without the need to run up for the 5p, now in this other("better") TV, I cant connect the 5p because i need to do the run up... I never had to do it on my other TV and the explanation I could come up with is that I usually do the j2k with a little delay after the forward jump cancel(thanks to my delayed TV)... and that means that i get a little closer in the air, so when I land I dont need to do the run up for the 5p. Now.. in this other delay-less TV i do it really close to the ground, cancel the moves really fast.. but always end up far from the other character !! Has anyone had similar problems?? =/
  7. I tend to use te GMW FRC and the doors FRC. Bomb bag and scalpel pull aren't that useful(at least for me)... GMW FRC is for continuing with j.D for knockback, and sometimes I go pogo GMW on block, then FRC j.2k GMW or land and keep pushing. I use door FRC's usually to avoid proyectiles and get close to the opponent and go for a 214HS or another gimmick, and the S version for the kill when a bomb is around.

  10. Yesterday I just realized sometimes I do two flowers>GMW after pogo instead of one, and it connects perfectly.. but when I try to do it in training mode I can't pull it off.. Maybe its something I've forgotten and dragging since #R that my hands know when the two flowers will connect in the middle of the match but I wanted to know how does it work exactly.. is it only on crouching opponents or CH?

  13. I also started to do my aerial combos 2D>2S>5K JC... It is way easier and I still dont see the downside. Now that I can pull off the 2S JC I stopped doing the other one. And to pull it off the only thing is that you must hit the JK as fast as possible after the JC. It took me a day in training mode to pull it off consistently and muscle memorize it.. sometimes I never failed and sometimes couldnt pull it off like 10 times in a row.. frustating..
  14. And kinda off topic.. I'm getting to a point where there is little to no competition where I live.. and the goddamn online sucks(like 1 sec of delay). Any recommendations ?? =(
  15. Yes, pogo after 5HS is a good option(i also go item throw after pogo), my main concern is when the 5HS whiffs in combo or pushstring.... so much pressure wasted... I think I just need to get rid of my bad habits and start to actually SEE if im in range or not and decide whether to do it or just go for the usual 5s>236P/5S>2k
  16. Yes... I still combo 5s into 5hs from midrange and whiff.... and that leaves me in a bad position and lose pressure.. the thing is... If the 5hs would've actually connected, it's not guaranteed the 2D will because of how far the opponent is.. in that case I tend to go 5s>5hs>item throw... but sometimes i feel like 5s> item throw is the safe way to go.

I was trying the pogo pickup from FB bomb and accidentally went for 236236S.. it does crappy dmg but it's a viable alternative for an unburstable 100% tension finishing combo(highly unlikely thou). It should be useful as much as a RC grab.. only for the kill. In other news i tested yesteday the FDC overhead on live matches... i didnt quite pull it off but im getting the hang of it... it's still landing too late for me to run up for the 5p so instead y just 5p onsite and go 2D>item throw or air combo if I'm close enough.
  19. Thanks ! now I only FRC on block to go j2k and another gwm close to the ground and keep the pressure. I'll try the scalpel combo as well.. I really haven't trained the IB either(but i guess it's kinda hard, like the flaming slap frame), but its a nice extra dmg when you wanna go for the kill. I tried the online play but with my location/connection I just cant plat at all.... It would be nice to have some training matches !! Also.. i just checked out the first combo from the post [2D>2S] JC > [K>S>K] JC > [s>HS].. I usually go JC [K>S>HS].. maybe its char specific cause i mostly play against ky and slayer(sometimes whiff with slayer but i guess its just bad input). Anyways.. maybe it can help someone!
  20. Thanks Senkei.. I havent had time to practice the last few days but I'm gonna start with those videos. Aside from that... I often used to frc the pogo GMW in XX#R. Now in AC+ I'm having a harder time to combo from that.. and sometimes i feel like it just doesnt combo. Is there something like BB where the opponent has better recovery times the more hits they are in the combo they are taking?(did it make any sense?)
  21. Hi Senkei, is there any specific spacing when doing the FDC combos? I dont stay too near to the opponent in order to stay away from throw range and sometimes leaves me kinda far to combo the j2k into 5p or 5s.
  22. Yes, that's the basic concept about it. Then depending on the situation you can poke the opponents from afar with a j.HS or do it close to the ground and j.K,JC,j2k as a fast overhead for oki.

  25. Anyone still playing the PSN version of the AC? I'm trying to polish my skills if the rumor about the R version being downloadable after some time. So, I'm currently doing some B&B combos and my 5HS sometimes wont connect after a far 5S, thus i cant go Pogo> item throw or 2D> air combo. Aside from gatling into 2K or 236P is there another viable alternative?. And another thing... i've seen SJI combos from 6P aerial counters where you just do your regular air combo, and using the SJI because of the height of the opponent. My question is, do you have a better combo from a ground to ground 6P CH than the regular 6P>236P>2S jc JK>JS>JK jc JK>JS>JHS using a SJI(and 5K)?
