  1. After a 2D cancel into 22P then quickly do a 22HS, you'll end up right behind the opponent for a meaty jHS oki. It is easier to react to then a 2k FDC oki but saves you tension. Another version is 2d, 22k then quickly do a 22S. Same idea but its all just to mess with your opponents head. Delay teles by a few frames against Elphelt and other characters that wakeup slower then most of the cast.
  2. Unpractial 100% tension huge damage combo found against Ramlethal (259 - 264) and probably works on many others. In corner: Leafthrow, wallcling, walldive, cS (ji), 2HS, 22S, jK, jS, djD, alpha, wallcling, release, djK, djS, tjHS, 214214K, land, 236236K. Because of the height from the 214214k super, the opponent will bounce of the ground high enough for you to land and 236236K them before they get KD'd allowing for full damage.
  3. HS tele can sometimes land me a quick jhs beta. But the timing needs to be flawless or I just wiff and eat it. K tele yrc I found was a bad approach too because the anvil hotbox covers everything below her. The may I was playing was smart too, she would always respond to any tele in appropriately. It was a salty matchup, may would spend the majority of the fight jumping back with jhs's until I eat one or put myself in position to eat something else. She would always try and keep a 3/4 screen distance appart too. Only reason I started to win matches was covering my approach with find me.
  4. I need help in this matchup, all this may does is spam jHS, I can't approach her at all...
  5. I have to agree with burningvigor. This matchup can go either way in neutral. Millia is just as fast as Chipp, so neither has an adv there. Chipp has a better pressure game but Millia has way stronger oki. If millia gets a knockdown, she can win the match easily with her oki (considering 2 combos is all it takes) and her oki is extremely hard to read. If he tries Dp's, then bait and punish. Chips oki game consists of crossups, which blitz shield counters and its easier to see coming. The reason I feel millia wins this matchup is her free knockdown on her counter assault because that alone can win you the match.
  6. Please note that your connection will not always match your opponents, and some cases one will have the advantage over the other. If you want to tell us about your connection, please inform us of the system your on and the version of the game (JP, NA, etc.) Also try to find out the same information about your opponent. I would like to add that things like delay spikes, ppl who start at 4-5 but often spike to 19 is most likely packet loss from wireless connections, or somebody is over using their bandwidth (ie downloading torrents)
  7. This matchup makes me cry. Ground to Ground - Elphelt feels like Ky on steriods. Her pressure game is very strong and safe if played right. Her Bridal express is +on block with max range, try to grab her if she does it close because she will try to grab you. She has a sneaky 5k like Ky and Jam. Also an overhead and her 2hs gains ground and can be followed up so dont treat it like kys slide. Try to stay low because if she wiffs her HS you can alpha it. Ground to Air - You can catch her with a well timed 6P or 2HS, but those are both risky on wiff and can be baited with bridal express. If you block bridal, she still has + frames on you and will start her crazy ground game. If you see bridal coming you can airgrab it. Air to Air - Her air normals just out right stomp you. Her j.S is fast, spammable and has a hurtbox that surrounds her, I cant seem to beat it. Her j.HS is like the j.S but slower with more range. Her j.D has a huge horizontal hurtbox, but has landind recovery. I found if you see her jumping a lot, a good 22K FRC airgrab is your best bet. Air to Ground - How many champagne bottles does this girl have!! It will beat out anything you drop in with, baiting it is hard too because she can spam it like sols 5k. Just don't jump in unless she is open or during tight oki. Oki games - her oki is very strong, of you get forced blocking a berry just be patient and watch what she is up to. Once the berry is popped FD her pressure to get distance to jump out. If you try jumping after blocking berry and before it pops, she will probably be coming in with a j.HS to push you back in the corner. As for your oki, she has very little to no defensive options, which is your only upper hand. But I noticed she wakesup later then most of the cast so you have to delay things like FDC 2k or you'll wiff and be grabbed. Crossups make it hard for her to wakeup super, and she gets owned by corner wall games. Basically my best strategy so far is always end hitconferms in knockdown so you can get in and pressure on wakeup. Use 22K FRCS often to catch her throwing Berry's, jump spamming, etc. Do not try and beat her straight out in neutral, wait for her to make mistakes or leave herself open.
  8. Don't buy a new version of the game. I'm sure this problem will be patched eventually. Just find people that you don't get the 12f delay for now. Its just a waste of money otherwise. Also please no console wars here, this page is about helping with the input delay. Plus before the recent patch both Consol's were getting good connections with each other so I doubt hardware has anything to do with it.
  9. I have a ps3 JP version. All ps4s I connect to give me 4bars, but also give me 12 frames of delay, never any less, rarely more. But I have yet to ask those about versions of the game, so this might be another element to the problem.
  10. So far this has helped a lot of people with their 12 frame problem. If your not having the 12 frame problem then don't take the advice. I explained every step on how I came to the conclusion so take it as you will. And if you have better connection with ps4 as a ps3, let's do some more deductions. Do you have a Japanese copy or English copy? Do you know if those ps4s that you get good connection with has Japanese or English copy's? Did you check their delay compared to yours? I'm just trying to make the online experience better for all those eating 12 frames every match.
  11. I don't know the science to it, its just what's been happening. Ps4 players I've fought enjoy a 2-4 frame delay while I'm getting 12 frame delay. I know what you mean though, I thought it was a shared delay but... Its not...
  12. After talking to quite a few players and concluded its a cross platform problem. Every ps3 player will get 12f delay against a ps4 player. The ps4 player will still have a awesome connection though against a ps3 player. So please play against people of the same console, ps4 players will always have a massive upper hand against ps3 players!
  13. So I have come to a conclusion on the 12 frame problem, well at least my problem. I noticed every ps4 player has a 4bar connection with me, but I get 12f delay from them while they report getting 2-4f delay. Every ps3 player has 1-4 bar connections, and I actually get 2-8 frame delays with them. So basically if you own a ps3, don't fight ps4 players...
  14. Chipp's video was pretty good, covered the FDC j.2k which was very important. I like that you mentioned his frame adv. normals too. The thing I felt was off was stating that his combo's are short. Other then ending combos with 2D's for a quick KD, his combos get pretty long and are very character specific if you want KD. Also no mention of alpha blade, gamma blade, or his invisibility. I know your only going for important specials, but they kind of are.. All in all, you taught any newcomers what they need to do to have a chance of winning with Chipp. So it's still pretty good job.
  15. I really enjoyed the games tonight/this morning depending on your time zone :P. Finally get to fight actual experienced players, which gives me a whole bunch more to learn!
  16. Thanks, and your probably right. My best chance are East Coast players. Maybe some guys from NY, noticed they have quite a few GG players.
  17. Hey, noobie here, would love to get into this chat room, hopefully find some players with a decent connection if its still active. PSN: be4r_1n_m1nd
  18. Hi, freshmeat here. I want to get better at Guilty Gear but most local fighters where I live (Nova Scotia, Canada) are playing BB and SF. Not that I'm not a fan of BB, but I feel Guilty Gear is a much more rewarding game to master. Sadly, I can't master it because I lack compitition. I can't seem to find any decent connections to play against online, was hoping to find people closer to home through this board. My Tag: be4r_1n_m1nd Main: Chipp Loc: Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada Just add me to PSN and Challenge me, I may not be that good at the game yet, but I'll always be down to fight (unless my girlfriend is using the PS3 :P)
