So I'm pretty new to the fighting genre (played Guilty Gear a lot but with no actual results) and I wants to use Valkenhyan as my main character, how do you suggest doing so? How should I train what Should I do?

2K/5K > c.S > 2D > BR/VV - 103 dmg (5K,BR)
- Example of the staple meterless knockdown combo. Distance BR reaches is character specific, the more normals you include the farther the opponent when BR needs to connect. Any combination of normals before the 2D can be used for this combo, as long as the opponent is within range. VV does more damage but requires a closer hit.
Works on: Everyone except RO (BR misses, but VV works on RO)
I can't get a hit on Ky with BR aswell...
There's three classes of weight right? Am I right? Potemkin, middle weight and light weight such as Bridget, or I got that all wrong?
Um so something like WT>jS>SW>jS>SW>2H>jS >SW > BR is basic? Should I go with that?

Currently, I train at doing WT>jS >SW >2H >jS >SW >2H(most of the time Ky doing tech here) >jS >SW (I managed to do 3 loops one time only)
I have no idea if I should train like that, if so, what do I train after?

Well, Sol is my main character and I lack the abillity to choose which of his combos I should learn.
The SW loop is the most important I guess, it seems the key for mastering SW loop is jS>SW.
I need some few basic combos so I can play with people, gain exp until I get the hang of how Sol works so I could improvise.

I'm new to Johnny and the Combo Guide is good but all it has is Throw combos, and tons of it.
I want to learn the major Johnny Combos so I could get the hang of it, and then improvise combos.

So I've decided to stick with Axl as my new Main and currently I'm learning the basis.
I've visited the combo thread and it has tons of combos... I dont really think every combo is necessary, what combos is useful and I should really learn? also the lockdown and pressure theard has tons of information.

so what you mean, I jump, canceling my jump with drill cancel, then press kick?
btw I'm trying the second combo, and it seems like I succeed, but the game doesn't count all the hit as combos, am I doing it correctly?
In the second combo [2) 164 DMG - (edge of screen) Drill Cancel Kick JC > j.2K>[far 5.S>5.HS]>pogo hit>
5.S(ground flower)>5.HS(going my way)]
what do you mean by [far 5.S>5.HS]?
oh and by the way, when you write Drill Cancel Kick JC, you mean Drill Cancel>K>JC or Drill Cancel>JC?
